Yeah, check him out. A lot of the games he reviews probably wouldn't be considered hidden gems amongst the users of this forum, but all his reviews are really good and thorough. He's actually the one that convinced me to finally play Terranigma.
you guys remember Irate Gamer? FUCK that shit.
Agreed. He's a dumbass. I think it's funny that he disables comments on his vids because he knows everyone is just going to flame him. It's also funny that he has a crew of e-douches that go around "disliking" AVGN's YouTube vids.

Yikes. He's just so fake and annoying to me, seems like a total douche you'd hate back in high school or something.

I have to agree about the Irate Gamer. I've seen about 3 of his videos and besides being a blatant ripoff of AVGN, he also seems to be a genuine bad person in real life.

I've seen like 3 videos from the Irate gamer and while I agreed on many of the points in his Ghosts 'N Goblins video he's still a gigantic, unfunny rip-off of the AVGN plus the douchebag couldn't even play Q Bert :P

Just checked out 16-Bit Gems' review of Lost Vikings, not bad at all. LOTS of gameplay shown in the video = good.

And great, now I need to replay the game for the thousandth time. 8)

SWAG Show isn't too bad, I watched some of his stuff awhile back. His Magician Lord review was pretty cool:

As the owner of a mint Nes copy of Q Bert I feel the same about the Irate gamer.
Thanks everyone...

I would understand if he couldn't play something like EVE Online, X3 Reunion or Resonance Of Fate due to the learning curve/complexity but fucking Q*Bert? Does he have the brain of a brick?

Well he couldn't think of his own shtick, if that tells us anything. It must be frustrating to be both ambitious and dense. No wonder he's so irate!

I like Irate Gamer more than AVGN (but I still like AVGN, too). The same way I don't take AVGN seriously, I don't take Irate Gamer seriously either. I like Irate Gamer better because he doesn't rely so much on poop & fart jokes and insane amounts of cussing. And I love the recurring characters on the show like The Wise Sage, Satan, and his evil twin. I've also noticed that his show has evolved while AVGN is just more of what works. Again, I don't want to give the idea I don't enjoy AVGN, I do, I just like Irate Gamer more for the above reasons.

And I think you got it backwards on Irate Gamer's crew. I always see everyone posting on Irate Gamer's videos about how he's nothing but AVGN rip-off (which comments are on his videos, or those wouldn't be there).
