Just a heads up: the Limited Edition of the ZOE HD Collection is available for pre-order on Amazon now. It may sell out before launch like the MGS one did, so it's probably best to grab it now. It's less expensive compared to the standard edition than the MGS HD LE was, at $60 instead of $80, even though the bonuses are basically the same.

I just preordered a copy of the limited edition for Xbox 360 last night! I can't wait for it to ship!

LE's sold out a few days ago, but here's the boxart.

Much nicer looking than your average HD collection.

Got mine today. I ended up ordering the limited edition because the art was just so damn sexy. Kind of kicking myself for not nabbing the MGS HD limited edition set.

Played the first game for a bit, it's pretty cool. Supposedly the second game is where it's at, but I figured I'd play the first game before since it's really short and to get a handle on the game's universe.

I actually much prefer ZOE1.

How's the framerate? I've heard bad things...

I don't have anything to compare to (haven't played the PS2 game), but it looks fine to me and hasn't noticeably dropped at any point.

The most important issue, according to Enders fans that have contacted us, is that both games in ZOEHDC move more slowly than the original PS2 versions. The comparison video seen here shows that mechs, lasers and melee attacks all lack the amped-up pace of the original, as though the game were being played in slightly-slow-motion.

Other concerns have been raised over framerate inconsistencies between the 360 and PS3 versions of ZOEHDC, with video comparisons supposedly showing that the 360 version runs at a higher, more consistent average framerate than its PS3 sister. Regardless, neither version consistently runs at the 60-frames-per-second figure stated by the collection's official UK website, rather the majority of the game operates between 30 and 40 FPS.

That's a bummer. As usual these HD collections are hit or miss. Can't say I'm that surprised this one has issues given all the delays it got. Hopefully we get a patch.

Man, I sorta wish I had the Limited Edition of the ZOE HD remake just for that amazing box art. Oh well.

By the way, anyone else confused by why the Metal Gear Rising demo is on a separate disk?

Last but not least, I never played either ZOE games back when they released, so this'll be my first time getting into em. They look cool.
