If you're a fan of Galaga, 1950's sci-fi movies, or Red-Blue 3D glasses, then this is the game for you!
I happened to have an old pair of Red-Blue 3D glasses and I had a blast with this game. I got to the Centipede stage before I had to come tell you guys about this great little retro gaming/retro sci-fi homage. This is the latest from indie gamemaker Locomalito, who brought us such other greats as Hydorah, Maldita Castle, and Viriax.

This is a First Person Puzzle game in the same vein as Portal, except you use telekinesis and teleportation instead of portals. You play the role of Annie, a little girl in a mental instituion that is torn between listening to what the doctors tell her to do and listening to what her giant teddy bear tells her to do (which may or may not all be in her head either way). The game isn't finished yet, which you'll find out if you near the end and find a big wooden sign explaining that everything beyond that point is untested and unfinished. But what is finished before that point is pretty impressive. The game uses the Unreal engine to create some reasonably dark and clinically antisceptic atmosphere. And more importantly, there are some good puzzles in this game and you'll be "thinking with telekinesis and teleportation bears" before you know it.

I downloaded and love the game, an easy unzip and copy. THANKYOU! I changed the default keys to Mame friendly layout for easy switching from Normal to Old Movie to 50s 3D on the fly. I can see the Galaxian inspiration in the first levels. Now where did I put those glasses .............
You are Stanley. Stanley lives a simple life of pushing buttons on a computer, but now he has some choices to make. The game has 6 different endings that will each take you 5-10 minutes each to complete. This is a Half Life 2 mod that you really should play. Because each storyline is so short, it's hard to say much without spoiling anything, so I will just tell you that this is a very funny and insightful game about the nature of free will.
You don't need Half Life 2 to play this, you just need Steam installed. You then copy the materials from the download and place them into your
steam/steamapps/sourcemods folder.

The Adventure Games Studio (AGS) is a great site for playing and creating point & click adventure games. They have a yearly award show where they give out awards for some of the best games developed using the tools at AGS. This year, The Journey Down swept the awards.
