mjmjr25's Gameroom - Walkthrough of Lower Level (pics) 2.14
Re: mjmjr25's Updated Game Room & Collection: 6/2/12
@fast, yeah, all options are on the table, i've considered 4 single sticks, 2-dual sticks, a quad stick all encased together but w/4 PCB's of course...I have a few drawings, just trying to find the best performance / aesthetics / space combination.
@casey,
Chassis definately working, from one of the more respected arcade guys on neo (300wins), he has many cabs and tested it the morning he sent it to me. It was the full chassis (flyback, main board, and neck board).

I kneel before you, and offer my allegiance to the emperor of this domain.
Seriously, this is great. I envy your children, at least a little.

I envy your children. I'm having to beg my dad to let me BUY ONE MYSELF. (cause of space)
Re: mjmjr25's Updated Game Room & Collection: 6/2/12
Well, got lucky. Usually my boxes from Taiwan / Korea / Hong Kong take anywhere from 2-5 weeks, or occasionally 8-12 weeks if I go cheapo boat shipping.
Anywho, the other box arrived today and my PGM1 collection is now complete:
One of the Dragon World games ended up being a dup, I thought it was something different, but apparently Dragon World EX is also called Dragon World III :/
Also included in the lot is Dragon World II which I needed, as well as Puzzli, which is pretty rare as far as PGM stuff goes.
So with PGM1 complete, my sights turn toward....dun dun du dun, PGM2, and here we go with Oriental Legend 2 (different from Oriental Legend and Oriental Legend Super). It is on new hardware.
Complete kit - get! The great thing about PGM2 is they designed the kits to utilize the 4p feature of many of their games. So included in the kit is a link cable and JAMMA edge board to link 2 cabs, so a true 4p beat 'em up arcade experience.

As a stop gap w/cab issues, I want something reliable to play my boards, and nothing more reliable than a Sigma Raijin:

Yeah, absolute beast, 15lbs, sturdy and solid. Super clean on the inside so easy to troubleshoot and/or swap parts, as needed.

15 lbs.??
Respect. Y'know, I've always flirted with the idea of grabbing one, but that would mean I'd be entering into your realm, and your gaming flavors get real pricey.
Game room looks great, btw.

Well, it is a nice piece - they are factory built, so everything is precise. It is an all-in-one unit of course, so while big, doesn't take a lot of room. It is all quick disconnects inside so really easy to mod if you wanted. Worst case scenario, if the supergun pcb had problems or something, then you have a case and you could install some other PCB's from pads and have your self a JP arcade quality dual stick for whatever console you wanted. Those fetch $400+ on their own (HSS-0130's), so really no risk in having it as an all in one.
My boys are gonna play it later so i'll be snapping some pics of it in action.
