Unbelievable, that was a foul and a score. What is up with the refs today?

A draw is alright, as far as it goes. If you win against Algeria, you're in the next round.

How horrible. Officiating should never cost a game - this is absolutely ridiculous.

True Jfrost. If the UK wins and we beat Algeria we could make it. Terrible call though.

I didn't catch most of the second half, but today goes to show that you should never underestimate your competition :D

Anyone got a website to show me where the teams currently stand? Post-game analysis is mind-numblingly boring and largely unscientific :D

It was a really bad call, yes. Refereeing today was pretty atrocious. But it's something that happens.

Last year, in the finals of the Confederations Cup, Brazil x USA, the ref waved off a Brazilian goal that might very well have given the tourney to you guys.

You started winning (2x0) and Brazil scored two times in the second half. The third goal was waved off. Lucky for us, we made another one and won the cup. (Great comeback, by the way.)

They need more Refs. As the play by play mentioned some league uses refs behind the goals to keep an eye on stuff n the box? Be a good idea. Even another one on the pitch. No sport should have such a lapse in officiating. + another on the pitch maybe they can spot the ridiculous amount of diving this sport has.

Thanks! It seems this tournament is finally heating up. I think teams are overly obsessed about winning.. I think stylish play should factor in as well.
