Hopefully this means less Shitty music for a year
Re: Hopefully this means less Shitty music for a year
I really dont want to be the guy to say if you don't like hip hop listen to this but for seriously listen to this first link and tell me that is a bad song
Dead Prez so hyped I get to see them Thursday for free.
Would anyone be down for a hip hop thread?
seriously so much hasn't been touched on here:
I Self Devine Dudes from my city, what you wanna fight about it? Hey noise he's got a song with doom on that album too check that shit. Oh and he opens for GFK when he's in town
Nonphixion "Jesus Christ was a gangster rapper they killed him and he came back and made a platinum album"
Big L (R.I.P.)
M.O.P.
Onyx this song has 50 cents first ever verse long before he ever got famous
Tha Alkaholiks
Immortal Technique If you liked my first link find one for yoursell
Let alone us nerds arguing over if Biggie or Pac is better (Biggie wins hands down).
I'm kinda drunk and this was gonna be a much bigger list but I'm kinda drunk and I've been having way to much fun on youtube since I never really even listen to hip hop or any music anymore.
I really don't want to get into the rap/hip hop isn't music argument but I got a post that will dwarf this one if I do and make everyone feel really stupid by quoting James Baldwin.

There's lots of hip hop discussion that goes on in the 'what are you listening to' thread.

Keeping it same era as you did with Verbal Intercourse, My next move is Right Back At Youflex wood wrote: I should just go into mjmjr25s bst thread and learn how to do that but its late and copy paste is so much faster.
I'll see your wildflower and raise you a verbal intercourse (it would have been "Run" ghostface and jadakiss but I wanted to keep the sameish time frame).
I can't believe you actually pulled out Ghostface's R&B albumflex wood wrote: And as the soft touching? I don't condone that shit in hip hop seriously "All that I got is a really dope song but stapleton sex is much more my level.
Sidenote for anyone that even remotely enjoys hip hop look up the album all day by girltalk. Thank me later seriously just google girltalk I think all the dudes albums are free to download too.
Another great track was All I Need (Album version). Then there's this version with RZA original beat and Mary J Blidge and there's this Puff Daddy remix. To be honest there all good but if you want that raw rugged one the album version is the way to go.

But what are your guys opinions on newer music, alternative, dubstep, etc. I hate wehn people say dubstep isnt music, because I get that ALOT, and knowing this community, I will put my fav. video game remixes up.
even though I hate Skrillex

964,000 copies sold of The Carter IV. Not even Jay-Z and Kanye West are getting those numbers for Watch the Throne. I'm actually surprised since there hasn't been much buzz for the album unlike Watch the Throne.
