Mine was Shining in the Darkness.
I still own a copy and played through it last about a year ago.
For most it hasn't aged well but I still enjoy it.

Mine must have been one of the Pokemon games, the originals. I think I had Blue, my brother had Red and my sister had Yellow. We got them with our GameBoy Colours.
In another note it may have been FFVII for PC though because I saw my friend with a Playstation playing it and thought that it was the coolest thing ever. I never got off the first disk originally. I got stuck somewhere where I forgot where to go next....But I've recently gone back and played through the whole game and now I see why everyone loves it so much. It's probably my #2 fav atm behind Xenogears.
