Did you pick up any interesting titles along with the system?

Super Mario 3D Land (which is awesome) and Resident Evil: Revelations which I haven't even opened yet.

The build quality of the XL is fantastic. I wasn't expecting it to be as good as it is.

Nintendo of America have announced further details about their Fire Emblem: Awakening Nintendo 3DS bundle. The bundle, which will be available on February 4th, will cost $200, and will come with a 4GB SD card and the game pre-installed.

The Fire Emblem 3DS is not worth it.

$200 for a pre-installed game and a standard 3DS? No thanks.

$200 for an XL that looked like that and I'd be in despite the digital copy.

I hate the digital push considering a retail copy of Fire Emblem will probably hold its resale value nicely (just look at the other entries.)

I think the US is getting jobbed like usual on the 3DS XL special editions.. Japan of course has had multiple Limited and Special edition 3DS XLs like the Charizard one, and the UK had the Pikachu 3DSXL released on Dec 7th.. Why can't North America get these? Seems like MS is the only one putting out, then again they are a US Corporation..

The disappointing special edition 3DS aside, is anyone going to pick up the new Fire Emblem?

I plan on it. Love me some tactical RPGs and I haven't played a Fire Emblem game in a long, long time.

Already on my preorder list. I've been playing the fan translation of FE12 in the meantime.
