Yeah, but nobody cares about Sicily. Could be worse though. Could be Market Garden.

Wait, are we talking about the major battles between rival armies, or more along the lines of the partisan skirmishes? Nazi's penal units made of poachers, murderers, and rapists? Soviet concentration camps? I coudl see the argument being made to focus on the other aspects of the Eastern Front besides Stalingrad.

The series doesn't allude to internal atrocities within the USSR, but it's a 70s production and not much was disclosed back then. Unlike the majority of WWII documentaries though it focuses on the human tragedies that resulted from Op. Barbarossa.

I don't really like anime, but I've been watching the original Pokemon series, it's really a good show. It's probably the most American anime, but I still like it. Probably because it isn't really Japanese themed.

Oh, that does sound interesting. So did it go into things like the Hunger Plan?

I'm six episodes in but they only mention the scorched earth strategy. I imagine a documentary like this coming from behind the iron curtain was something rather unusual back then, and besides it has footage that I've not seen elsewhere.

I've really been digging Arrested Development season 4 on Netflix. It sucks I'm only 3 episodes away from the end. :(

I'm about half way through. wildly inconsistent, though, aren't they? some of them are really, really good. others are downright bad. They are all too long and needed a lot more editing/pacing help.

I'm pretty sure there will be more than Season 4 of Arrested Development. There has to be.

Plenty of unresolved stuff. And there's even a "On the next Arrested Development..." segment after the credits of the last episode.

I'm sure there gearing up for the movie I've read about.

Yeah there's a few weak episodes in the season. It has to be hard to write a new season for a show that's been off the air for so long. I think the movie is going to freaking rock though. They certainly haven't lost the ability to cleverly tie all of the different characters stories together, some of it is pure genius I think, though I'm easily impressed and amused. Maybe its just because I missed the show so much, but so far I have to say I've enjoyed watching all the episodes so thus far.

I don't really care about anime either, but I love tokusatsu. I don't really understand why.
I've been watching old Spongebob episodes from some DVDs I found in the garage.
