I'm listening to 80kidz's This Is My Shit. A neat little J-pop/electronica album.

^I haven't bothered with a DT album since I heard Systematic Chaos.
Even then I haven't really LOVED anything they've done since Metroplis Pt. 2.
(and well Six Degrees had some cool stuff I guess)

Because I'm thinking about them after that DEHR music thread, Sunkings. Kind of trance/ambient.

Silver Linings wasn't too bad. It certainly wasn't as good as Octavarium or Train of Thought (my two personal favorites right now) but I enjoyed it for a few months. I'm more interested to hear their new drummer more than anything, but from an interview I watched it seems like this new album is a bit more technical than Silver Linings which will definitely be a welcome change.AppleQueso wrote:^I haven't bothered with a DT album since I heard Systematic Chaos.

Also I do enjoy Systematic Chaos to a point. There are only a few songs that I really really enjoy, but most of it is mostly average. I am not the most die-hard DT fan though, I just enjoy progressive music and they usually hit a good sweet spot for me.

EDIT: Here's a pretty sweet snippet of a song from the new album. I like it.

Can't get enough Curren$y and I missed him breaking his ankle at Rock The Bells because Black Moon was starting their set.
