They said its because donations from red-headed men are chosen much less often, mostly because some people aren't wanting red-headed kids because they don't like red-heads. Sounds like some prejudice to me!

They should be more worried about hereditary diseases, IQ and even height.
Also red-headed men are a necessary evil, for with out them there wouldn't be red haired women

Yeah, that the problem with being a red-headed dude, nobody cares about you. They like red-headed girls, and everybody seems to want one of them, and the men are left with nothing.

Not sure if you were being sarcastic or not, but I heavily agree that research can be loads of fun when you feel like you just "discovered" something.

Google and other search engines have taken most the fun out of research, but still finding that one tid-bit that most people don't know about is a rush; for me and other nerds I guess. "Little known Facts" get me giddy.

Not at all. I'm doing book work by editing, researching, writing, etc. It's been fairly intense this week and while sometimes exhausting, it is also extremely rewarding and stimulating.

I was part of the Scouts and hated just about every minute of it.

I like camping and hiking and outdoors activities. I don't like having god shoved down my throat while doing them.

That's not supposed to be part of the deal. That's what Awanas was for.

I'm on the same boat with this. Once I find something that interests me, I spend hours researching and taking notes on the subject. My mother always encouraged me to research things that we didn't know when I was a kid, and she made it fun by rewarding me when I presented my notes to her. My grandmother also worked in the local library, so I always had access to books and other resources.

I would say that writing essays and such was my favorite part of school. The presentations were always just as exciting to me as the research itself. To hear a class mate be amazed at the information and ask more questions was like finding a path to another adventure, but this time you have two brains to worth with and bounce info off each other.

I could go on for a good while about this, but I'll spare you guys. I'm excited though, school starts for me at the end of September. I'm sure I'll share random tidbits here and there about poking dead people.
