:(
I need to take time to stop and think about stuff before I do something.
Key point: I need to take more time to proofread my emails, tickets, and posts. I think the Instant Messenger age stemmed this poor habit of simply hitting "Submit" immediately after I'm done typing.

:(
Screw energy drinks. There needs to be a "Motivational" drink.

The past few weeks I've been reading/watching a ton of random controller reviews. I've suddenly built up this urge to go out and find the strangest controllers I can find and collect them. I might make this a thing, and actually start writing my own reviews (I feel sorry for the people who decide to read them). This actually started before the neGcon article was posted, when I was looking for viable alternatives to the N64 controller. Just really good timing.

:D
I have no idea what I'm smiling for.

No. Red delicious usually go for $1.59 a pound, or $3.99 for a five pound bag. That's usually the cheapest variety. Fuji's and honeycrisps are closer to the $2.00 a pound price point.

Those are retail prices, but even at the farmer's market you pay about two and a quarter a pound for apples not pumped with pesticides.

But dear God. Hotpockets, pizza, and easy mac? The hell did Repo's arteries ever do to him? That garbage is full of trans and saturated fats.

1 pound pasta = $1.00 (you can usually find it for under a buck)
1 28oz can diced tomatoes = $2.00 (you can usually find it for under two bucks)

!BOOM! Bum pasta for a good three days. If you have balsamic vinegar, garlic, and fennel, you're a mire poix away from a gourmet pasta sauce.

And although it costs more than live lobster (seriously, not fibbin') canned tuna would be a great alternative to a hot pocket. Might be an urban myth, but supposedly canned tuna is the most sought out item by prison inmates.

Can't believe I forgot to mention pasta. We can live off that stuff for WEEKS if we have to. Just grab some various spices, and maybe a few different sauces if you can afford it. That should give you some variety so don't get sick of Pasta/Tomato sauce every night.
Canned tuna can get pretty pricey, but it's also a good alternative if you're getting sick of eating the same things. My entire first year I had to live off of pretty much nothing. I couldn't even qualify for unemployment. Thanks mother! :)

Do what I do: Turn spell check off. Keep a dictionary handy. Read your message at least twice before submitting.

Repo, the other thing to do is to try to stick with supermarket sale items. Load up the fruits/veggies/meats that are on sale. If you buy a large packet of chicken, put the rest in the freezer.

Look for farmer markets as you can usually buy higher quality stuff for a cheaper price because you're cutting out the middleman.

Those hot pockets might be easy to make but you'll pay the price later when you have a heart attack at an early age.

Favorite "guilty pleasure" food right here.

Cooked in the oven of course. Wouldn't want to eat the soggy mess you get with them in the microwave.
Agreed. The Totino's pizzas remind me of the pizza that used to be served in my Jr High/High school cafeteria lunches. I actually really liked em.

Might as well..."Warning! You just bought Hot Pockets. Either you are drunk are heading back to a trailer"

The cold but somehow burnt square pizza? I swear every school had that one weird-o who would eat that pizza EVERY DAY and would usually put some kind of salad dressing on it, roll it up and devour it.
