I watched Temple of Doom for the first time today ... it's not so bad compared to some bullshit that comes out now.

I don't think you are crazy. On an entertainment level Clerks 2 is better. I feel that on message level, Clerks 1 has more going for it and is overall a much more poignant film, which is why I ranked it higher. Clerks 2 though is my wife's favorite and it is very funny!

watched the first Tomb Raider last night. Not a big Angelina fan but it was actually a really fun, enjoyable movie.

Looks pretty good, but I wish they'd get to the fireworks factory already.

I liked it, the second one is fun too and has a younger Gerald Butler. Overall the action and story seem to be a little better in Cradle of Life, you should definitely check it out sometime.

Just saw Whip It.

I liked the movie. I didn't see all of it, but what I saw was good. Not all that much to it honestly, but I really felt for certain parts. Plus, Ellen Page. Good looking girl, and I'm surprised she is as old as she is.

I like Ellen Page. She also recently guest-starred on the season finale of "Out There", on IFC.

I also really liked Super, despite how over the top stupid that movie is. I dunno, something about it worked for me.

I'll go see it, since I'm a comic book fan and since Marvel Studios has been making their movies, they've all been enjoyable on some level. But at the same time, Thor just wasn't as good as Avengers, Captain America, or Iron Man. Or even as good as some of the earlier X-Men, Spider-Man, and Blade movies. Good, but not spectacular. So I'm much more excited for other films this year.

This year really is a great year for movies if you're a geek. Just look at this list of movies coming out this year:

-300: Rise of an Empire
-After Earth
-Carrie
-Ender's Game
-The Evil Dead
-G.I. Joe: Retalliation
-The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug
-Iron Man 3
-Kick Ass 2
-Man of Steel
-Oblivion
-Oz: The Great and Powerful
-Riddick 3
-Sin City: A Dame to Kill For
-Star Trek: Into Darkness
-Thor: Dark World
-The Wolverine
-World War Z

Looks awesome. I'm glad Disney will finally be putting their logo at the front of Marvel's movies starting with this one, but it seems they're too cowardly to use their name in the ads. Don't want to upset the fanboys.
