I can't blame her. I would be a dick too if you didn't at least dance to the Tejano music.Forlorn Drifter wrote:Went to prom, it was alright at best. The music was a crappy mix of pop country, hip-hop, tejano, and a bit of dub-step.
I was hoping for it to be better overall, but it wasn't. I didn't do any dancing, as there wasn't really anybody I wanted to dance with. It wasn't that great dealing with a certain friend, who was being a real dick about me not dancing, making it seem as if it was wrong for me to be there just to hang out.
Prfsnl_gmr is joking to a certain extent, but it sounds like missed out on a good time. People who don't dance at prom are like people who don't dance at weddings: stick in the muds. And trust me, girls don't give a crap if you are a good dancer, they only care that you dance. Come to think of it, bad dancers are more likely to have more girls flirt with them.prfsnl_gmr wrote:I would be a dick too if you didn't at least dance to the Tejano music.Forlorn Drifter wrote:Went to prom, it was alright at best. I know and I am flattered she wants me to be close, but she is constantly giving me guilt trips for not applying to any of the sucky jobs she sends me.mjmjr25 wrote:She wants to be close to her boy. Totally normal.
Have you told her this, frankly and honestly?Luke wrote: I'll strap on my big boy pants and accept her behavior, but it's frustrating to me that she doesn't understand how happy my wife and I are, right where we are.

For close to four years. "MLE and I have worked very hard to get where we are, and we couldn't be happier". I've said it countless times.CFFJR wrote:

You know what you're doing and don't need advice from me about your family, I know. I'm just kinda discussing it.
