In the grand scheme of things...it's just silly. I dunno. I mean, it's like the forums can't take...a...joke.

I got Classic NES Series Zelda (GBA) for $2 today. Same store I got Zelda II at about a week ago. Gonna keep popping in there in case there's more

*ignores all the stupid bullshit in the thread*

Yesterday, I picked up the following at Goodwill:

SFIV Guide - $0.50
Hudson SNES Multitap - $4
Gamecube Microphone - $3
SNES AV Cable - $0.99

Also got the following from a guy on CL for $35:

Gamecube w/ controller but no cords
Pikmin (boxed, artwork is torn)
Star Wars Jedi Outcase (or whatever it's called, CIB)
a couple other Star Wars games disc only
Madden 07 (or whatever, cib)
Anthracite (black) Neo Geo Pocket Color w/ Sonic Pocket (no battery cover or batteries)

If he wasn't delivering this stuff, I'd have passed on the GC stuff and just paid the $15 for the NGPC. Still, I'm sure I can make something off this. Found that I can sell Gamecubes w/ a controller, hook-ups and game reliably on Amazon. Not much profit, but considering I can't sell them anywhere else, it's better than nothing.
I have a ton of games listed at my store's site: Super Smash Video Games

Steel Battalion w/controller on Craigslist for $80. Box a tad shabby, but the controller itself is immaculate. It's also the blue button version, which I'm told is the most reliable one. The downside is that once I unpacked it, I realized it didn't have the large manual for the controller. Texted the guy about it and he'd said he would look for it. All in all I still think I got a pretty good deal.

Also while I was waiting for the guy, I decided to check out my local Half-Price and found this.

Now those are both great finds! That controller is huge, dang. I've heard about the game but only in passings about valuable games, etc. You'll have to let us know if the game justifies that footprint, wowza.

Seriously, I don't care what the thread is called, because the objective is the same; so stop with antiquated notions of what is and isn't, and QUIT YER BITCHIN'!!!!!

Stop trolling. It ruins the thread (and the title of the thread, apparently).

My friend got a huge lot today, but paid $550. I think he overpaid.
He ended up with (from my memory):
5 NES consoles with the usual bunch of controllers, zappers, etc.
5 Genesis consoles (1 model 1 non-HDG, 4 model 2) with the usual bunch of 3/6-button controllers
Sega CD (model 2, in great condition... but no plates or extension), with hook-ups
a bunch of PS1s and controllers/memory cards
a bunch of phat PS2s and controllers/memory cards
a bunch of X-Boxes and controllers. One was modded with a large hard drive and pre-installed games/emulators
a Gamecube CIB
a GBA-SP
a few Gameboys
3 Atari 2600s (one 4-switch, two juniors)
a ton of games over all these systems, along with a few decent SNES games

Really, there were good games there, but nothing I saw as uncommon at all. Lots of essentials like Sonics, Mario, Mega Man games, Metroids, Ninja Gaidens, etc. Most everything was in good-great conditioBut... nothing he got really stood out at me. I'd say it's enough for him to fill a few holes in his collection, but I really don't think he's going to make much money off this lot without quite a bit of work.

Oh well! Cool stuff is cool stuff!
Checked out his stuff today. He also got two pearly white SNES consoles in the deal (controllers and hook-ups, too).
