Win.

Bone, if you have the ability to purchase extra domain names at a reduced price... make this happen.

Fascinating suggestions, all.

I instead decided to name my site after an incredibly handsome man.

Twilight Princess has the longest damn prologue. It has no direction, silly mini games, and characters are developed whose names I still haven't bothered to commit to memory.

As I recall, there is a great game hidden behind this wall of prologue. I just need to get to it.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

I felt skyward sword had a longer prologue than TP.

I feel like I now need to know the answer to that comparison.

Play Dragon Quest VII and then talk to me about prologues.

Hard to compare an RPG with an adventure game like Zelda in terms of pacing. Especially a series as in love with itself with so little respect for the player's time as Dragon Quest.

Whoa, whoa, whoa. Most of the series respects the player's time just fine. Dragon Quest VII stretches things out a bit, but it eventually gets rolling, and the first game is really the only one that is astoundingly grind-heavy. The rest of them found a nice balance, and I very, very rarely had to stop to grind in the other games. Certainly no more so than other JRPGs.
