Snagged the box, manual, styrofoam piece, and all inserts in 8/10 condition for Megaman 1 and Megaman 5 for NES yesterday for a grand total of...$20! Great Craig's List deal.

I'm flipping them on ebay (selling Megaman 1 CIB with the cart I acquired from Mr. Mjmjr last month, Megaman 5 box and manual only) to pay for Megaman Legends 1 and 2.

The last CIB Megaman 1 in decent shape went for $160 auctioned (as opposed to an average of $30 for cart only) I'm hoping I have enough profit left over to either rebuy Megaman 1 cart only, or splurge for Mass Effect 3 next month. I won't promote my ebay auctions here, but if you want pictures of the shtuff, you can search for the Megaman auctions from pack1953 (my parents' ebay account, they already have a billion positive feedbacks, makes things easier).

Boxes and manuals for NES games are sweet, but I'd rather sell them off to buy more actual games since most of my collection is cart only.

It's important to remember that prejudices against members of any religion be they Mormon, Jew, Muslim or anything else is vile and wrong.

Speaking of Deseret Industries, this is what I've picked up there over the last 5 weeks. Most games are usually priced at $3.00 but their prices have been sporadic and senseless lately. Awesome.

Well, now that it's complete - I want it back

Nice pickup though, so the boxes were in nice shape then, good on it.

Haha - it'll be fun to have a complete copy hanging around the house for a week. This is the only way I'll be able to afford Legends 2 anytime soon or I'd love to hang onto it! Having the Legends games and X3 (picked up last month for $45) out of the way makes completing my home console Megaman collection a much more manageable task. Now I just need to figure out how to find a cheap Megaman 7...

No manual, but I think I'll live.

The original pic was too blurry. The case looks different though, a Blockbuster case?

The original case was a blockbuster case, but I cannibalized the Harry Potter one so it's in an official box now. If Pikmin 2 was a former rental, the disk is in superb shape.

It stands to reason that if hardly anyone wanted to buy the game, hardly anyone would want to rent it either.

Well, I found some stuff that made me happy today. The rest of you may bicker amongst yourselves whether or not it's a find if you like.

All of this was found at the same thrift store (specifically, the one that usually scares me away with their higher than even damned ebay pricing)

Image

Boxed copy of Myst. Disk is nice and minty and comes with the journal, hints it suggests you not open, an order form for the guide book and one for swag, a trouble shooting guide, and the Prima Masterpiece Edition guide which I'm pretty damned sure wasn't originally packaged in the box. Box is a little beat up, but I'm happy with it.
$3

PSP Pouch and Wrist Strap. Still sealed. This will be nice when I have the PSP out when I'm around the house. Price says $2, but I got it for
$1

Image

Night Warriors: Darkstalkers Revenge 1+2, Battle Arena Toshinden, Tekken, Akira, Wrath of the Ninja, and Vol. 1 of The Mysterious Play VHS's. Somebody was obviously clearing out their Blockbuster collection. I was really glad to see all of the game-related tapes, I know they're not worth much, but they'll be fun to watch.
$0.50 each

Pokemon tin to go with my other one.
$0.50

Game Boy Micro Cases x2. I don't have a Micro, but on the rare chance I manage to find one that won't cost me an arm and a leg, I'll have a couple of cases to put it in.
$0.50 each

And then there's this thing:

Seems it's an old Wendy's toy. Kind of neat. I don't remember them making these. I guess I'm just used to McDonalds putting out Nintendo toys. Interesting little mini baseball game even if it doesn't play so well
