I am going on the 27th. I assume it'll be less crowded on a Thursday evening.

I'll email them but it doesn't sound hopeful! I invited two of my friends to come with me on Thursday, so if they turn it down then I'll def go on Saturday.

I'm waiting to hear back from my girlfriend and two buddies I invited if they are coming. If I still have a free access code then I'll give it to you.

Maybe I shouldn't have said 5 days a week. I don't know my schedule yet but that is my availability. I'm only working tomorrow in the evening time so I'll probably be able to go to meetups before or after my shift on the weekends (depending on what time of day my shift is).

And yes, I'll be able to build that damn thing. I've been looking forward to starting a Mega Drive collection as well. Bare Knuckle (CIB) just came in the mail yesterday.

Not a computer job (working on getting that degree). I've been looking at internships and training courses but the courses require money, something I don't have enough of yet. I just got a job at a department store. Similar territory as my first job back when I was 16 1/2. Next time we go to Antioch, I won't leave with something smaller than the palm of my hand.

I'll be getting the 3820 as a temporary measure and then I'll save up for the Socket 2011 Ivy Bridges that come out next year.

Wow, that's great! Wish I could say the same although school keeps me busy now.

That's kind of my problem. I'm going to be juggling school and work. I'll be able to manage but you can never put enough time into studying that annoying math course that requires repeated practice.

What types of places do you usually apply to? I can tell you now (and from past experience from my first job) that department stores are hiring now because they are preparing to get all they help they can get as the holiday season approaches. If you're desperate for a job, aim for the types of places I did. Btw, I'm going to SJSU now. Maybe we'll bump into each other sometime, though my classes are during the evening/night.

Pretty much any place I can get. However, I may have an interview coming up at Subway next week so we'll see how that goes. That's cool that you got into SJSU! My schedule is erratic though, I only have one class around noon on some days and I'm at school from 10:30 to 4:15 on others.
