What was the last movie you've seen?

A unique anti-war film that was banned in the Soviet Union for over a decade. Dabbles in absurdism and frequently offends then-Russian sensibilities of glorified soldier imagery. Ought to be up there among the ranks of Eastern Front classics such asStalingrad and Come and See.
Thank you for deciding what goes next into my Netflix queue. Both Stalingrad and Come and See are in there, along with Cross of Iron.

EDIT: Nevermind, Netflix may not have it. Damn!

Check youtube. You'd be surprised what kind of movies you find on there.

Mostly 80s and older movies, are what I find. I can't seem to find modern movie too often. But I do seem to find a surprisingly large amount of the older ones.

While on the subject, since this is a gaming site, I can find a lot of old gaming related stuff on there, too (apart from the normal game footage and reviews). GamePro T.V., TechTV/G4 Icons, The Legend of Zelda cartoons, Super Mario Bros. cartoons, and GamesMaster among others.

YouTube is a great resource for nostalgia! Not as good as it used to be, but still great considering it's entirely free.

I laughed a lot during the midnight showing of this. Nothing brilliant, but the cast is fun, and it's pleasing to see Carrey at the top of his game again. Also Olivia Wilde - dayumn.

You're most welcome, and the film is on Youtube but no subs are included unfortunately. It's protected by YT's rudimentary DRM so it can't be downloaded without third party software.

I use Tubedigger to grab those legally available titles in case they get removed from Youtube someday.

EVIL DEAD
You don't want this movie spoiled do you?
You want surprises right? So stop right here before I basically ruin the movie for you.
I gave you fair warning.
Evil Dead is very true to the original. Well there is no Ash (well there is, see I told you these spoilers ruin the movie) but only at the very end, and it is just his face. As you can tell from the trailer, the deadites aren't laughing lamps and deer heads, rather we get some zombie like creatures that are perfectly ghoulish. And the violence? Holy hamburgers.

The film is chock full of over the top gruesome violence shown in vivid detail. I don't care if you've been reading Fangoria since 1985,
you will squirm.
I guess I can un-spoiler that.
But seriously, you will squirm. The sounds, the visuals...
some of you guys are going to simply fall in love with this movie.
Guess I can un-spoiler that too while I'm at it. Great story telling, some great laughs, and yes, you will get a chopped off hand and a chainsaw as its replacement. But as a gift to you, I won't spoil who gets that awesome curse (although you'll figure it out twenty minutes into the movie).

Best film of the year so far? It's up there. Better than Cabin in the Woods? I didn't think so, but it is close. And "close" is good enough to make me recommend seeing this on the big screen.

Huh. To me he was just there playing another exaggerated caricature who had zero originality.

AND James Gandolfini, and Jay Mohr, and David Copperfield...

They stacked the deck with funny people and cameos, but the laughs are very far and few between. I posted a review a few pages back, as long as another review from a critic. For the cast involved, I thought it was a disappointment.
