Have you played any other games from the Elder Scrolls series?

I played 3 and 4 for 4-5 hours each. Buggy yawn fests.

tbh I don't have high hopes, but I figured I should give it a fair shot. The combat in ES games has always been absolute shit and a big part of the turn off for me, but I had heard this one makes playing with ranged weapons a much more feasible approach than before, so will be trying that. To early to tell, but that same horrible clunky melee is still there, so if I am reduced to using it I can't see staying with it.

I am about 90 minutes or so in? I just got to the part where I am telling some king about what happened at the beginning of the game.

I've already encountered 3-4 bugs of clipping, people flipping out, and - my favorite - a plate launching itself off of a table (slowly) and hitting the person talking with all of its contents (and finally the plate itself) while I sat there and watched him talk. No one had touched the plate: it was possessed.

I know people like Bethesda's open world approach to creating these games, but they really need to do a better job of baking these if there's ever any shot at immersion to be had.

I can't even fathom what this refers to, but it intrigues me.

Ah. The 4th of July. The day where the firework tents sell everything at 80% off, a case of yuengling is only $13.99, and I can wear a Captain America t-shirt outside of the house and not feel like a dope.

Imagine living an hour from where Yuengling is made! I get $1 drafts of "lager" (which is what we call it here...kinda the opposite of TX and "coke") at my local bar anytime they are open. Every day is the 4th!

Also, Yuengling has the best brewery tour I've ever done.

My favorite brewery tour has to be the Duck Rabbit private tour my wife and I took. It's in Farmville, which a twenty or thirty minute drive from my house. The brewery is pretty much in the middle of nowhere and the building is old and looks like a giant trailer.

But once inside...Heaven. They only sell four varieties, but they're always brewing something experimental, because they can.

Three people run the entire brewery, so you get to speak directly with the brewmeister, and sample all their products. The owner stopped by during our tasting and gave us free t-shirts and pint glasses.

Which reminds me, I need to schedule another tour.

Why should you feel like a dope? I never do. I wear my Cap shirt out all the time.
I'm not a glitch, I just have pixlexia.
