That's actually what happened when I typed intelligent in the other thread. I had typo'd it and quickly right-clicked and selected the first option without a second thought. After looking up what the "corrected" word actually meant, I decided to leave it there.Luke wrote:Frown: I misspelled the word "misspelled" today and quickly realized I rely too much on spellcheck.
Smile: I'm disabling spellcheck on my browser and on ms office for at least until June, and breaking out ol' Webster.
Hope some of you consider doing the same, and feel free to point out any of my misspellings.
Need to stop relying on spell-check/auto-correct as well...
There's a LOT more wrong with the car than we initially thought. The price having it fixed up has me thinking about just buying a new vehicle. After discussing it for a long time and giving it some additional thought, I think we've decided to fix up the Cruiser little by little and then trade it in or sell it at the end of the year. I hate not having job security...
Kid laid on my chest and watched me play Half-life for a while today. I kind of don't want her watching all the violence, but she was getting a kick out of it. She likes being scared, so when something would come out from around the corner we'd both jump and she'd start giggling her butt off.
I have to bike to work tonight. It's not that big of a deal, but I'm really tired today and I'm a bit out of shape. I usually feel pretty good after a few days of bike riding, but those first couple nights are terrible...

REPO, you're a long time poster and a great guy to have around...but I think that posting these daily/semi-daily financial statements and money decisions are going to continue to bring you more of a headache than you probably need and I'd encourage you to perhaps leave this kinda thing out of forum posts. Let us know if you find a job or if you hit a real rough patch or something, but I have a better idea about the balance in your check book then in my own right now...

C'mon Dave, I don't know what I would do tomorrow without my daily dose of Repos financial report. I might have to go online and read a stock market report to get my fix.

My daughter didn't get sick or any rashes for a long time, but I remember when her tear ducts clogged up. We were both freaking out, and felt so bad that we really couldn't do much except try to keep her eyes clean. It always sucks when your kid has to go through crap like that... You feel so powerless.BoneSnapDeez wrote:Baby has eczema on her face... Or a rash, or both. Seeing the doctor tomorrow.
Game room finally clean. Will take pictures after my next round of packages arrives.
Can't wait to see the "after" pics. I can't really keep my living room clean anymore. Every afternoon, I wake up to controllers scattered everywhere, and a few VMU's too...
Biking to work tonight really sucked, and I didn't pack enough food to refuel me. I still have the ride home to look forward to as well. I should stop whining, as I've been trying to get myself to start biking again anyway.
They finally announced where they're moving the company to! I've been worried, because rumors had it that we were moving another 30minutes away from where I live. All of it was rumors though, as we're only moving ONE street over! Really excited, because that means I can continue to ride my bike if needed, and I don't have to worry about stressing the car out once it's out of the shop.
I'm really hungry...

spent the past 14 hours or so just puking and generally feeling miserable. I seem to be doing a bit better now, but we'll see...

Re: What Made you Smile/What Ticked you off Today?
Smile: Got a great game in the mail from Stark for a great price yesterday.
Annoyed: Didn't have time to play it last night because of a track meet.
Smile: Two of my relay teams (4x200 boys and girls) broke the school record at the meet last night.
Frown: They both got DQed for bad hand-offs.
Ticked: We practice hand offs every other practice.
Chin-up: There are still 3 more meets to break the records.
Smile: My wife found a great old 1900 farm house that is bigger, has a real yard, is in a better location/school district and is selling for 15k less that what our current house is worth (its an estate sale and the family wants any amount of $ asap)
Ticked off: I owe almost exactly what my house is estimated at (lost over 20k of value in 8years) and wont be able to sell it to cover the current mortgage balance. With no money to cover the difference between the sale or for a down payment on the new house - it looks like my wife's dream house is a bust.
Chin-Up: Moving would be a pain and at least I am learning a lot about how real estate and the market works for future endeavors.
