What RPG are you playing right now?

I'll never forget my last run on the SNES, I solo power leveled a few characters up to 99 always boosting speed, had Haste Shoes or something on my main party and yeah... I probably could have solo'd the final dungeon with one character or something, lol.

I must admit, I once 3-move KOed the final boss in FFVI, and one of those moves was to case Cure 3 to prepare for what I thought would be a longer fight. Dual wielding X-Fight trick with the best weapons at level 99 = Fight becomes autowin.

Yeah, that kind of rings a bell because I think I remember Edgar had some insane sword and attacked a ton of times in one turn.

I think I got Edgar, Shadow, Celes, and Locke to 99, split them up during the final bits and then had them together at the end. I seriously don't even know if the final boss had a turn, lmao.

I definitely recommend Lost Odyssey, felt like an old-school JRPG.

xenoblade. starts out awesome...then you get to the battle system and your like "ehhhh" but if you keep on playing the battle system adds so many cool elements that the game becomes super awesome. story is good too.

I want to say that about FFIII! Would love to see this game get the PSP remake treatment some of the older FF's got.

That said I'm still loving the heck out of the NES version here and making really good progress. I'm about to enter the Water Cave Temple place or whatever. I've done a little research on the jobs and yeah, it's like some people told me... some of them sound literally worthless. But it's cool to have a Knight now (supposedly just a straight up upgraded Fighter), looks a lot like Paladin Cecil which is awesome.

The music is really impressive and I liked what I heard of the FFII NES music, although FFIII's is a bit more upbeat and I can definitely hear the Uematsu styles coming through here.

I think at this point it's safe to say I'll definitely see this one through to the end, it's been a blast.
