Well, Noise was quite against MAME, but set it up specifically for this game. Its worth it!

Honestly, the CPS2 cart can barely even handle the shit going on. they really pushed that board as far as they could.

.... The thing is, the rank is nuts in this game. If I get the pinwheel and both boss secret items, stage 2 just starts out insane, everything is faster, and i've been dying, so losing out on the midboss 4-bomb bonus. ...

Yeah, I've managed to PISS OFF my board too!! Not a good thing.

So far, I've noticed that my board gets a lot MEANER with each extra BOMB and LIFE I get. Thus, if I get to the end of stage 2 with 2M+ points, then the Boss is WICKED. This is one game where GREED is a double edged sword: Not enough points and You're Not Great; however, Too many poitns too fast and You're Great!

Looks like I may have some time this weekend to play some more.

my high score is 759,290 so far, but I'm not officially submitting it. I wanna hit 1M. But that doesn't seem consistently easy. Sometimes I do good (like 700k+) and sometimes I do like 300k. And I'm not sure what I'm doing differently each time.

1. Collect Magic Books:
--After you max power up, books chain for points.
2. Learn The Elemental System:
--2x Damage to opposite element color for 2X points.
--1/2 Damage to same element color for 1/2 points.
3. Collect Treasure:
--Magic Attack turns Enemy into a Treasure Item.
--Collect Higher level Treasure Items to score more points.
4. Collect Treasure Sets:
--for point multipliers.
5. Collect Hidden Treasure:
--Re-read the last few pages for the Hidden/Secret Items and other scoring tips.
