Re: What Made you Smile/What Ticked you off Today?
We had a sub in English today. Once everyone was done with their work we had free time. This meant that I got on the computer at the back of the class so I could lust after expensive Kamen Rider toys. Then, this one girl took the keyboard and Google imaged ballsacks and shouted "OHMYGODLOGANSTOPLOOKINGATTHATSTUFF!!" I'm like "You're the one who looked that up, you perv." while going back to the Figuarts. Then the teacher asked us to turn the computer off.
Also, I'm pretty sure one of the people that sits with me at lunch wants to horribly murder me.

I believe Bill Watterson said it best: "Those who have fond memories of childhood were obviously never children themselves".
I'm not a glitch, I just have pixlexia.

It's not that I have fond memories of childhood, it's that I have fond memories of the toys, cartoons, and video games.Retrodude wrote:I believe Bill Watterson said it best: "Those who have fond memories of childhood were obviously never children themselves".

This, but add to that the biking, the baseball in the field, the adventure and exploration, but mostly the video games.Ack wrote:It's not that I have fond memories of childhood, it's that I have fond memories of the toys, cartoons, and video games.Retrodude wrote:I believe Bill Watterson said it best: "Those who have fond memories of childhood were obviously never children themselves".

I tend to try block out as much of my childhood as possible...
Older. Not wiser.

Same here. Childhood was bad. In fact, I'm not even close to being "content" but I'd say my life at least got "comfortable" once I turned 27.

this thread seems especially depressing today.
Smile: I have only one more day of class to prep for, then it is all grading and presentations (and "gravy" as they say) 'til mid-May...and then nada til late August
Frown: it would be a perfect evening for a nice walk under the stars and some single malt around the fire, but it is raining like a fiend right now.

It's because people who play video games are socially maladjusted manchildren.dsheinem wrote:this thread seems especially depressing today.
