That's the sign of quality bread, which America lacks. Nothing against wonderbread (love it) but bread shouldn't last for months. Or even weeks. Or even a week.Hobie-wan wrote:The problem with buying or making fancy bread is that after a few days, you're not sure if those spots are supposed to be there or not.

If you are using "no worries" or "no sweat" as a response to a polite "Thank you", then yeah; a bit annoying. "No problem" can bug the hell out of me, especially when a waiter says it. Like I think you doing your job would be a problem.prfsnl_gmr wrote:

Your adjectives are fine, as you actually know what they mean.

For whatever reason, the slang that bugs me most is "Legit."
However, I think "epic" can be acceptable if you're describing something with a sense of grandeur or incredible scale. Granted, given how most people seem to just use it as a synonym for "neat" or "cool," it's gotten pretty overused and you're probably better off avoiding it completely, but still. Just sayin'
"Literally" I can get behind, even though I occasionally slip it out from time to time without realizing it.Luke wrote:Literally epic.
Or either one of the two words.

Hot Rod (2007) is such a great movie...

Unless people are going to remember it and glorify it for all time, it isn't epic. Most the crap I see being called "epic" on this board is "meh" at best.AppleQueso wrote: However, I think "epic" can be acceptable if you're describing something with a sense of grandeur or incredible scale. Oh. There's another one. "Meh".

It kinda works if you think of it instead as shorthand for "of an epic-like scope/scale/quality/whatever." Maybe.Luke wrote:Unless people are going to remember it and glorify it for all time, it isn't epic. By far the worst might be actually saying "lol" (as in "L-O-L") out loud. I've got myself doing it a few times. I felt so bad.
