I've noticed this too. Occasionally, Amazon will have fantastic prices so it is always worth checking out as you said.IrishNinja wrote:CIB indeed! i tell a lie though; just checked and it was like $50 with shipping, but you can still see where i jumped on it with a quickness. seller wrote back that it was complete, but he was a new seller lacking feedback or something? i don't think i even finished reading that bit before i paid for it, and it's in great shape. amazon has a lotta dumb markups but they're worth checking for the occasional sub-ebay prices.mjmjr25 wrote:Wow - and it's CIB? The lowest CIB on there now is $94+ shipping.

My backlog for Dreamcast is 106. Thoughts for tackling this and keeping it manageable? I'll preface by saying it's not my intention to beat every game on this list. Rather I'm looking to get a feel for the games that might be of lesser quality and what makes them bad. The more system-defining titles and standouts I'll work towards completion.
Here's my goals for April:
Replaying Shenmue
Finishing Grandia II
San Francisco Rush 2049
Gauntlet Legends Playthrough
Maken X
NBA Showtime: NBA on NBC
Finishing Record of Lodoss War.
Starting and completing Skies of Arcadia.
Exploring Illbleed.
Toying around with Maximum Pool
Playing PSO with Noise and DC-Talk.
We'll see how I do!

The key thing is getting a nice mix of games in your list. You look like you havea pretty good selection. Also, try to find people to play with. When games like Gauntlet Legends pop up, I can't help but think that a second or third player is needed to really get into the meat of the game. It is part of that social act that is engrained in the point and purpose of the game.Blu wrote:My backlog for Dreamcast is 106. Thoughts for tackling this and keeping it manageable? Also..put batteries in your vmu and play the mini-games! Just because!!!!! Especially with Skies of Arcadia.

ugh, I should probably try to finish up Grandia II as well. What part were you on, Blu? Friggin' PSO has just been soaking up so much of my non-arcade time lately.

As it should! I've probably devoted around 8 hours into the game, so only past the first two dungeons.noiseredux wrote:ugh, I should probably try to finish up Grandia II as well. What part were you on, Blu? Friggin' PSO has just been soaking up so much of my non-arcade time lately.
BMF: I should definitely get some peeps involved for Gauntlet Legends. I'll grab some VMU batteries, just for the Skies of Arcadia Minigames, if they're super legit.
In other news, NBA on NBC is like a spiritual successor to NBA Jam. I really enjoyed a quick game where Reggie Miller hit 16/19 three pointers.

Gauntlet Legends on the DC is all right. The exclusive hubworld, the 13th rune, the characters from Dark Legacy available to play as, lots of good stuff.Blu wrote:BMF: I should definitely get some peeps involved for Gauntlet Legends.
