Sorry, misread. I'm sure there's tons of tutorials out there. HDL_Dumb/Dump is indeed the best. Also, I believe I still have the final versions of both. HDL_Dumb is 0.8.6 and HDL_Dump is 0.8.5. Dumb is the GUI for the Dump EXE.

Would it work to install FreeMCBoot on the first page, load the game, and then go to the other pages once the game has loaded for the game saves? I'd hate to have to pay $15 for a new card when my existing one may work.
I just tried this a couple weeks ago. It did not work with the multi-page nyko card. It works just fine with my 8mb nyko card that has the playstation logo on it and magicgate.
So I just keep the multi-page card in slot 1, and the 8mb card with freemc boot on it in slot 2. Only problem is hdld_svr.elf looks for its configuration in mc0:/ So I have to swap every time I load a game over the network. Not a big deal really.

So then why don't you copy SYS-CONF/IPCONFIG.DAT over to the other card?

Or just plug your mcboot memory card into slot 1... I don't see any reason not to. You can still use that memory card as normal despite it having the mod on it.

Maybe he keeps the 32MB in slot 1 because of this:

Yeah, everything autosaves on the first memory card. Actually though, I found an unofficial hdld_svr that will check for the config on mc1: but I've yet to give it a shot.
EDIT: The unofficial hdld_svr I mentioned is available
here.

Oh wow thanks. I didn't know someone else took over coding duties. So I guess 0.9.1 is now the newest.
Edit: warning guys. Two users there are saying that this version is much slower than the old 0.8.5 version. Might be best to stick with the old.

Mozgus is right, I tried the 0.8.6 version at that link just now. It struggled to give me .2MB/s, a tenth of what I usually get. I might give 0.9.1 a try sometime. Soft reset would be nice.
I found a solution to my other problem though. hdld_svr was looking for its ip configuration in mc0: instead of mc1:. So I checked it out with a hex editor, and changed the paths from mc0 to mc1. There were 4 lines, all with IPCONFIG.DAT in them. Very easy and I didn't even have to recompile it. Now I should never have to swap memory cards again \o/.

Um wait a minute, I've always gotten 0.2 megabytes per second with 0.8.5/0.8.6. It takes about a half hour to transfer a 4.3GB ISO. You're telling me you normally get 2MB per second? I think you're mixed up. No one has broken 0.2MB in every forum thread I've read.
Well I tried 0.9.1 and it doesnt work. Just gives "unknown error" when trying to connect. Yes, I copied over the new server elf, yes I'm running the new dumb.exe. So fuck this version. I'm sticking with 0.8.5/0.8.6.
