Just received Cuphead. Bought it because my son has become obsessed with it and I noticed this was on offer somewhere and has all the DLC etc, so thought I may as well pick up the physical version.

Next new pick up is Ren and Stimpy on the Mega Drive. It's just one of those games I wanted as a child, but never got around to buying. It's supposed to be quite good, but very short. Short suits me just fine though and it's not a very expensive game. I saw it in good condition, so I bought it.

Endless Ocean 2 arrived today (very quickly after that Nintendo Direct - Yeah, it was an impulse buy after seeing a new game was coming and it reminded me I wanted to pick this up at some point).

^Ninja Saviors actually has a total of four different covers when looking at each regional release along with their reversible covers. This is the Chinese release, if you flip this cover you get the exact same art as the original Japanese version of the SNES release:



The two Western releases (ININ and SLG) each have new box art made specifically for the remake, and one of them has a reversible cover showing the art of the NA release of the SNES version. I kind of want to collect them all. This is one of my favorite beat 'em ups on the SNES.

I'm getting very big on variants, alternate covers, etc. I like the aesthetic side of collecting very much. I'm even starting to look at those cool, printable, Nintendo Rewards alternate covers that Nintendo has released for certain games. Easy to find them online even if you never got them from Nintendo.

I went into town today and picked these up from a local CeX. Why was Moonwalker priced as "unboxed", despite quite clearly having a box? No idea, but I am not complaining

I probably wouldn't have picked it up if it wasn't priced as unboxed.

The Sonic game was because my son convinced me we should buy it. I hear it's quite underrated. Or maybe it is crap. No idea

I'm surprised that no one made a mode 1 hack of Moonwalker with the ability to play with the original versions of the songs. I get no one wanting to given the accusations or potential lawsuits but still.

A lot of Sonic games get more hate than they deserve. Sonic Forces actually has a lot of fun moments and a great, though a big cheesy, soundtrack.
