Mr.Mime - Europe
Tauros - North America
Farfetch'd - Asia
Kangaskhan - Australia (not sure if it's the entire Australasian continent or just the country of Australia)

EDIT: Seems like it's probably just another stupid rumour. Man, this really is like playing Pokémon Red and Blue back in the day with the amount of dumb rumours. I wonder if Mew is under a Truck or in a guy named Bill's back garden.

There are also 6 currently unavailable Pokémon. 5 of them are the legendaries, which is unsurprising (Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres, Mewtwo and Mew). The 6th one is, oddly enough, Ditto.
Yeah, that's definitely a false rumor; I saw a Kangaskhan when I was in Baltimore for BronyCon last weekend (wasn't able to find it, unfortunately...).

So there is a glitch in the game that makes every pokemon appear to be 3 steps away regardless of where they are. Restarting it didn't seem to fix it, but I have come across those pokemon that it states are so far away, but are literally next to me.

Yeah, seems to have been doing that for everyone since about Friday.

^ Yep. That's the same thing I was talking about. I even tried restarting my phone, but that didn't help either. I guess we'll just have to put up with it until it's fixed.

I've also had mine freeze on me when I catch a pokemon. Just today I've had it freeze as soon as I got a Growlith and a Horsea in a pokeball. When I restart, the pokemon are gone. It really put a damper on my pokemon hunting mood.

That one happens to me all the time. Luckily it's mostly happened when I was catching commons, but I've lost a chance on a perfectly good Pinsir and Pigeot, amongst others, to that very same problem. Sometimes you get lucky and it registers the Pokemon as caught, but like with all things, the one you inevitably want will be the one that gets away.

Advice on the Pokéball freeze glitch: Do NOT restart the game right away. Rather, wait for the spinning Pokéball of death (TM) in the upper left to disappear. Then restart. Chances are, you'll have those Pokémon you captured after all! (It only works for me with the ones I already have, in a cruel twist of fate.)

Today's report has me very happy to report that Team Valor was well represented just on the one street I went down. Even though the nearest Gym to me (the Flagpole gym) was taken by the yellow team (Instinct is it? I never see them around :lol:) and they have 4 or 5 with a Lapras as leader; no thanks! But I saw lots of beautiful red elsewhere, and I was able to leave my new Exeggcutor at one! (It's still there as of right now!)

Today I also tried the "Do The Eev-olution" trick; naming my high CP Eevee "Sparky" from the animated series got me my Jolteon! So if you want to control the Eev-olution you get, remember to rename (and exit app before evolving)! Type the names as shown below, with the first letter being a capital:

Sparky = Jolteon
Rainer = Vaporeon
Pyro = Flareon

I also got to Level 18. I ran out of Pidgeys and Rattatas, so I'll have to grab some more.

Finally, if the in-app "Battery Saver" option doesn't work on your phone (like mine), try the Battery Go app in the Google store, for 99 cents it will fade your screen to black BUT keep the app running, saving battery and continuing to notify you of any activity, plus all steps/driving will still count for eggs since the app doesn't close. It's working well for me so far, plus it will keep you a little safer without the phone constantly in your hand.

Keep sharing your stories! What team(s) are the rest of you on? I hope Valor is well rep'd!

New tips for battle from The Silph Road -- lots of stuff they break down here that will help you do better.

Oh, and my Exeggcutor lasted about 6 hours @ the gym.

Ok, I'll post again, why not?

Today was really a terrible day for app stability. Lots of trouble getting on, freezes, etc. But on those times I was able to get on, a lot of fun was had!

It's a great feeling to be a gym leader (for 30 minutes)

But after that, something big and large was on my tracker at the park where I took the gym for Valor. Of course, they're all 3 prints thanks to the bug. But I decided to walk around anyway. I was about to turn back after no luck, but I pressed on and with just 1 Great Ball, I got that!

I also had good egg hatches today - a 500CP Bulbasaur, and new Pokémon, Ponyta and Magnemite!

Yesterday, my family and I went to the Detroit Zoo and found some crazy stuff. I caught my first Pikachu, and then I caught my 2nd 3rd 4th and 5th Pikachu there as well! The big find was a 780 cp dratini which took forever to catch! Luckily I had a lot of berries to help.
