Aww, JT, I love you too.

Not many people know this, but JT and I once hung out and played the most homoerotic game of volleyball ever conceived. Ehud Yonay witnessed the game and later used it as the basis for an article he wrote in May 1983 for California magazine called "Top Gun." The game was so legendary in Southern California that three years later, Tony Scott tried to put it into the Top Gun film, in which JT and I were played by the likes of Tom Cruise and Val Kilmer. Unfortunately the footage was so intense that it killed about 70% of the initial test audience and had to be pared down to its current display.

Sadly, the cut footage has been lost, but it does have a legacy all its own: Koji Suzuki was in that test audience as part of a vacation he was taking in the United States. His experiences witnessing the horrors of volleyball and the numerous deaths of audience members led him to write the novel Ringu. Suffice to say, JT and I are both really good at volleyball.

JT, you can be my wingman anytime.

Ok, brace thy self. Long and uncomfortable I-Love-You post upcoming; unspoil at your peril:
I have made a ton of friends on this board including some I speak to daily and regardless of me being here or having an interest in gaming; will continue to be a part of my life on some level.

noiseredux - the homey from the old set. A brilliant writer, a kind soul and a great friend. Your passion and energy for music, your wife, and life in general is infectious. You're a special person and I appreciate our friendship. Love you bud. Short story - our first interaction on the forum was him posting in a sale thread I had - i'll have to find it, but he was basically punking me for starting a second sale thread. I told everyone I knew on the board at that time, so, Flake and jmbarnes101, that the noiseredux guy is a real dbag. They both ignored my comment (thankfully) and a few months later the dude was one of my best friends in the world. Don't give up on him folks. He's the true last boss.

dsheinem - you drive me nuts, often, but your heart is in the right place always. You keep us honest and challenge lazy posting - I appreciate you and will always click to see your take on something. I will say you are the only member of the board I will hold off on submiting a post and ask myself, "ok, is this complete...how is this going to look to Dave - and am I setting myself up?". This used to annoy me. Sometimes still does - but I do have a ton of respect for you, nay, love. You're a good dude, Dave.

FastBilly1 - always thoughtful and generous. Helped me out many times and always respectful. You present a strong example for us all.

aaron - you are your own person and express kindness, humility, and snark when needed. A quick wit and an accepting persona. Keep being you.

Omerta - my brother, another kind person, a good father and all-around generous dude I share many things in common with.

kalessinDB / Bryan_65 / skate / ninja - my arcade / neo brothers; always willing to help each other out with tech or price advice.

sevin0seven - miss you dude. Another brother - kind, quiet, and a mean Ryu. Hit me up for some Ultra or just a chat.

Flake - one of the first people who befriended me on this board. Odd story, this is the first forum I found. I didn't really know how it worked. Flake and I did a couple deals my first few months on the board - we became friendly in PM. He mentioned something about a tiff with his GF at the time, my response was an unsolicited, 5,000 word PM on how to build and work on his relationships. His response was, "Thanks, man." That was the moment I realized I didn't quite understand the internet yet. I slowed my roll after that.

s1mple, Stark - more brothers sharing our journeys, sharing your family memories, bringing smiles to me and my family. Keep being examples to myself, please. I learn from your patience and compassion expressed. Thank you.

ok...this is getting long. Just a ton of great folks on this board and I know i'm missing some, all of my shmup brothers for starters (dunpeal, jep, foxhound, more...)

The guys/gals who are always thoughtful and witty in their postings: Prfl Gmr, JT, Hobie, Irixith, Key-Glyph, applequeso.

Spacebooger, Bonesnap - those who share their families and fun experiences.

Spoony, TSTR, Blu, jp1, 8bit - fond of all of you and wish I could go into details on all of you. Know I love you all and have a fondness for your different perspectives you bring to the board.

Nyukki, Ghudda - the newer posters who might not be psychopaths. High hopes for you guys!

busomjack - you gave me one of my best nights on the internet - ever. I am grateful.

Cronozilla, BogusMeatFactory - the guys who've been here who i'm starting to see more and more and find myself appreciating your energy and welcoming attitude. Hope to see you both keep up your board activity.

Chupon, deadulus - guys who aren't on as much but always are friendly and interesting points of view.

I'm sure as soon as I hit submit i'll realize I missed one of my favorite people on the board - so for that, advance apologies.

You're all wonderful people, and I'm proud to be a fellow Racketeer~! ^_^ I've never seen an internet community quite like this - one that has actually kept me around for years at a time. I love you folks, and here's to a great future for the past! But, just to give a little callout to specific people...

Key-Glyph:
You're always one of the most level-headed, friendly people here! Keep being so darn charming!

AppleQueso:
You're one of my best friends here at RB, and I'm so lucky to have a friend like you! C'mere, I wanna give you hugs~ ^_^

AmishSamurai:
Same goes for you, Lauren - you're such a caring girl, and you're always willing to lend an ear. :)

noiseredux:
One of my first friends on RB - we don't talk much anymore, but I still think you're super! :3

JT:
I admire your calm, steady demeanor. You're the eternal "fact" of this forum, and that is pretty cool.
