I just realized why I'm having trouble focusing on this book... Games. Or lack of. When I read RTB every chapter was about a game, so I could go play it after reading. I'm not really interested as much in the purely technical stuff (DPaint, etc). So with that said, maybe someone could suggest a few must-play Amiga games to maybe help me regain interest?

Do you accept Amiga ports/versions of games that are also available on PC/consoles/other computers of the time?
Try atleast UFO Enemy Unknown (Strategy), Fightin' Spirit (SNK-esque fighting game), Agony, Apidya, Stardust+Super Stardust and Apocalypse (SHMUP) and Turrican II, Shadow of the Beast, Fire and Ice and Ruff 'n' Tumble (Platformer). Zool 2, Gods, Chuck rock 2 and Oscar are also noteworthy platformers.
You probably don't want to try out any RPGs or Adventure games since they take so much time to play through?
Most of these games are Amiga exclusives or started on Amiga and later on got ported to other systems.

I think both Turrican (Metroid with more shooting) and Out of this World (Showcasing graphical power in a cool game) are both good choices.
The remaning chapters are all about games and demos so I wouldn't worry much

Out of this world and Flashback are both good choiches (although Out of this world is a lot better imo) but the chances are that he's already played them on Genesis or SNES (or some other console). But I guess the same thing applies for Shadow of the beast too, but Shadow of the Beast II and III werent ported to other platforms afaik.
