After a lot of thinking I am definitely gonna pass on the pre-order and wait for all of your guys' reviews. I would love to have one as a novelty cause to me that is all it really is.

Does anyone have confirmation on this? I've talked to two gamestop employees and both have no idea. The website says its included, and when you click on "view" you get this box that says this:

Online Customers: Game will ship with your console.
Store Customers: Game will be available at time of pick up.


WTF does that mean? One guy said that it will be a redeemable 'code', which I already knew he was bullshitting me. I told him that it will be a physical card and he went "...oh... uh..." and he's allegedly asking a manager and will be calling me back. If they don't give out NM with brick-and-mortar-store preorders, I'll just cancel mine and go through Amazon. Amazon's preorder has the extra game included.


UPDATE I spoke to someone from customer support on the Gamestop website. The guy tells me that the Ninja Master's free game perk will come with orders from a physical store. Just in case, i took a screen shot so's I can make sure they don't change things, lol.

It looks like Gamestop isn't the only major player in this whole Neo Geo X Gold release. Walmart, Toys R us and a few others like Best Buy, Target will offer it thru their respective websites for anyone that doesn't want to go thru gamestop or simply can't for whatever reason.

Ah shit if I knew Amazon was selling it I never would have ordered from GameStop.

I swore that before it said online only. Oh well things change or I read it wrong. Any way I will be anticipating everyone's reviews. I am still really wanting to see how things will pan out and be in the future.

Yeah thats why I was trying to find out for sure. I'd made a preorder at a physical store, then i saw that it was an online only thing. I hope they didn't change it.

Yeah neither did I, oh well. GS is only a short 5-10min walk from my house so I'm too perturbed.

Really looks good from what I can tell. Although I never have touched a real AES. Will have to wait to get a second stick however. Nice that it's USB though as I'm sure one could just use it with emulators if they were so inclined.

Can't wait for this to be busted open, I'm curious to know if an S-Video or straight RGB mod would be possible. From what I've understood so far, composite video is your only "out of the box" option for 240p from this thing at the moment.
