According to wiki, three episodes already aired on June 27th. The full episodes have not been uploaded to nick.com yet. I hate knowing that these episodes have already aired, but I can't watch them. They're not on youtube either. I did watch the trailer.
Looks like old man Zuko will be a character. I'm psyched.

Yeah, kinda sucks they don't use hulu and netflix(though it's even more annoying that the seasons of avatar online especially iTunes are missing about 7 episodes it seems  ) I could get caught up like crazy fast...

Check Amazon Prime. When last I looked, the entirety of Avatar: The Last Airbender and the first season of Legend of Korra where both streaming for free if you're a prime customer. Korra season two was available for purchase; I'm hoping season two will go to free streaming soon (if it has not already).

Season 3 started promising, I think.
Kind of a thematical return to Aang's adventures, in the way they're now travelling all over the world. Also, Zuko!
Season 2 went a bit overboard at times, though admittedly the storyline was called "Spirits" so it was appropiate to that, but I'm happy they seem to bring the story to be more down-to-earth again.

I didn't really dig the start of Season 3 honestly. I always liked that our heroes were pretty imperfect and often wrong, but they all acted like such idiots in the last few episodes that I had a hard time relating to any of them.

There be spoilers here:
When Korra said something to the effect of how she can't wait to meet the new airbenders, I said out loud, "cut to airbending villain" and rolled my eyes hard when it actually happened. The villains are kind of silly so far, I hope something more interesting comes out of them than their bending gimmicks.

It wasn't all bad though. FIRE LORD ZUKO ON A DRAGON, YES! The conversation he and the twins had about trying to kill the Avatar was pretty hilarious too.

The new little thief kid is a boring character so far, maybe he'll grow on me but right now he's just annoying and cliched. I found Aang annoying at first too though, so we'll see. I was rooting for the basement dweller with hipster glasses to end up as part of team Avatar but it wasn't meant to be. :(

I'm also glad that they're out of republic city, I'm not too thrilled with the current excuse plot, and didn't think we needed a solution to the lack of air benders since I felt we already solved that with Tenzin's family since they can have kids with non-benders just fine, but I am glad we can finally see what's become of the rest of the Avatar world.

I'm more interested in seeing Korra take the Earth Queen down a notch than I am to see them fight the main villains.
To be honest I think they've taken the Korra character far enough. I wouldn't have minded them move on to the next Avatar.

I didn't start season 3 yet. My DVR got the first two aired episodes though (I think the first one was an hour long and the second was a half hour - so is that 3 episodes?).

I liked season 2. I especially liked the first Avatar back story.

I just caught up on the first three episodes via Youtube. Seems they're still not available on nick.com yet. I wonder who's responsible for uploading these episodes.

Thoughts:
I'm pretty happy to see Zuko. I like his conversation with Desna and Eska.

I smiled wide when I heard Grey DeLisle's voice.

I haven't made up my mind about Zaheer yet. I see that he's the new villain, but why? I haven't seen Zaheer commit any crimes (aside from prison break) or harm anyone (aside from prison guards) so why should I hate this villain? How will he be the foil to our hero, Korra?

Also, the Earth Queen is the most instantly hate-able new character I have ever seen. I hope she is the main villain of this season instead of Zaheer.

Yeah just arched the episode that came on tonight and can pretty much surmise whats' happened so far
Zuko is freaking amazing to see especially since he seems to be a small sort of comedic relief. Though I saw the ending of that episode coming from a mile away knowing some of the stuff that happens in the whole series.
