Stage 3 is awesome in every way. By far my favorite shmup stage so far.

The part where you blow up the floating island and watch it fall, crashing into the earth... The most satisfying 5 seconds I've ever had in a shmup.
EDIT: I lied. Beating this game was the most satisfying 5 seconds. That end boss is... well. Definitely something.

I would agree, but I think combined with that amazing Stage 3 visual, the ship burning at re-entry and those green ships flying overhead and the awesome part kicks in RIGHT at that point. Sweet track.

I actually broke a mil a day or two ago, but my Saturn battery is dead so it's not doing saves yet. Had a couple (well, 3) really stupid deaths but I just wanted to get my name up on the board.

This is one of the few shmups I have that you guys have a hi-score thread on. I'm a noob, so there's always room for improvement. This was on my 3rd run.

Yeah, I've grown to like it. I have a good few shmups, but none that are in the hi-score thread.

Glad to see you participating here!
What other shmups do you have and enjoy? There is always room for more high score threads, especially since most of them are not getting action anyways.
I don't wan tto start too many, but if you wanted to play some Zero Gunner 2 (or whatever your favorite shooter is), I would be happy to play along with ya. I won't be participating in Shmup of the Month club until next month anyways.
