Cool, cool. Yeah, I just don't want it online (especially hooked to CC) and have the kids (or me) inadvertently buy something, and i'm def. not online enough to warrant the paid subscription. Sounds kosher.

Oh, snap. I forgot about it being on the US store. I'm still hard pressed to drop $15 on it, though. I guess I'll have to at some point before they shut down the XBLA service.

BL Orig and BL God are my personal 2 favorite modes. Original is slightly easier to clear than 1.5 Orig, but has a far more complex and entertaining scoring system to take advantage of. The game starts out slower than 1.5, but the better you get, the faster the game goes, until the bullets are just flying! God mode is also much easier than Ultra, but has a very satisfying scoring system that allows you to fill the screen with flashy, seizure-inducing numbers.

I payed about $25 for the game new, though. I hear what you're saying, and the black label modes seem very cool; I definitely want to be able to play them at some point. I see it as about a third of the content on the original release, though, and it's more about my feelings toward DLC than anything. I don't feel it's worth 15 of my dollars; Hell, most full digital release games aren't worth $15 to me. Furthermore, I wouldn't pay more than $10 for a lot of really good, physical releases.

I guess what I'm saying is that I'm cheap; but also, I'll definitely get Black Label at some point. It'll just be while I'm kicking and screaming, if it's at full-price. Hopefully I'll catch it on sale at some point.

Dude really is cheap. But we got a good amount of free stuff at PAX East.

Well, unfortunately, it will not be likely to go on sale.

I absolutely love Futari (Not to be confused with Futanari), and 9 out of 10 times, I play Black Label. If I could just buy Black Label and not even own 1.5, I would. its just a superior game in my eyes, and I would consider any money spent on 1.5 wasted if BL wasn't added.

Hell, I'm half-tempted to send you points jsut so you can see what you are missing. Not that my opinion is law, but I have put a LOT fo time into Cave's library, and out of every Cave game I have played (Which is all of them aside the LE board releases), Futari Black Label and Muchi Muchi Pork are by FAR my favorites.

I really love Futari, also. I guess I'm just content enough with 1.5 and Arrange mode to wait it out on buying BL until I don't have a choice not to.
