I thought the MS conference was pretty lackluster overall.

I'm sure the Kinect is cool enough in its own way but they seemed to spend a LOT of time on it...

And seriously, why not end on a tease of whatever the next Xbox is called? Just a quick video clip as a surprise or something to generate a little buzz is all they needed. Even if it isn't going to come out until 2013 or so.

Instead they ended on "Call of Duty 13: These Aren't the Droids You're Looking For." Rinse, lather, repeat....

Looking forward to Sony's presentation in a few hours.

Edit: I'll also be a grumpy old-ish (for a gamer) man and say that I miss the days when game consoles just played games...

Ubisoft actually just kind of sold me on the WiiU already. Rayman Legends, ZombiU, Assassins Creed...

Bah they made the British evil and the Americans free of templar influence. I was hoping Ubisoft wouldn't fall to this pandering, specially after my people were the villains of the previous game (cause it actually made sense that way) and it was quite ballsy to show the conquerors and Muslims to be the "good" guys. I was hoping for something like that here, but they chose to take the conventional side on this :/

I for one wouldn't want a game set in the revolutionary times that made the British the good guys.

But everyone knows that the British are evil. They're secretly planning to take over the world and force everyone to eat meat pies.

Why?

Besides, if a historic game wants to be accurate it shouldn't HAVE good guys (with the exception of WW2 of course)

EDIT

nvm I can think of many wars where one side was just invading for personal gain and no people of its own in the other land.

 I stand corrected. I made that post after seeing that trailer where Connor runs into the British camp. Plus all the videos I've seen show him fighting the British.

EDIT

ctOS seems very interesting

EDIT2

nvm it's called Watch_Dogs and it seems AWESOME
