Soul Calibur V
Re: Soul Calibur V
A lot of people aren't happy with the way they treated the story mode, especially with the storyboard presentation; they say they got lazy. Even if that is the case I still liked it, lol! Though I honesty have my doubts, as with most fighting games, whether the ending is really intended to be canonical.

Got a big patch incoming on the 21st and on the 3rd of April new CAS parts are going to be released. The patch won't cost you anything but the costume parts probably will have a price tag. Namco's doing a fine job managing their DLC unlike a certain other company that makes fighting games *cough* lol.

Anyone still play this? Just got it recently and like it a lot! Leixia is my main. Just bought all the costume DLC since I got the game so cheap and because I am enjoying it WAAAY more than I thought I would.

did you get it from the microsoft sale when they were selling them new like I did? If you have it on xbox I'll play with you if you want, but be warned I'm not very good haha.

Ah, sorry. I should have said PS3. I generally get everything multi-platform on PS3 because so I don't need to pay for XBL Gold. Maybe I'll start playing for gold if/when I get an Xbox One!

Re: Soul Calibur V
I sold it after playing it once. One of my least favorite entries in the series. Sorry man.

I got this game on PS3 a few months ago and haven't really played it.
We're both noobs, so I wouldn't mind a match with you, Erik. Can't wait till Soulcalibur II online comes out though. Hopefully it will be cheap.

Bring it on. Redownloading the game tonight. Cuz either the patches won't load on the digital download or they are pre-installed. Not sure...

I'm going the opposite direction: now that both online services are going pay-only I'm shifting all my multiplayer titles to the Wii U (or if not available there, foregoing it entirely).
