Yes, I don't understand what you are talking about, cause as I said all consoles have 2.5 years of warranty. MS made it 3 because their console was so badly built.

And the way I see it, my PS3 and my Wii, have a much higher chance of working 10 years from now, than an original 360 did.

At least you have the 1up on Australia, they never get stuff
Urgh! Don't rub it in. I love being an Aussie, but hate being an Aussie gamer. We still don't even have adult rating for games let alone price parity and release dates.

The only way to deactivate the ray beam and fight back the vampire alien threat is with a complicated series of foot patterns on the device's control board that looks remarkably like a DDR pad. We will all praise this man for saving our lives and buy him a mountain of stuffed animals.

I have heard the tales of woe from Australians before and I would be importing like a madman if I was over there.

No you won't. It's not out until quarter 4 in Japan. So you're looking at least least quarter 2 2012. Quite likely quarter 3. Europe will probably get it in 2014... Yay... Not that I'm buying it like but Sony sure does love to fuck us Europeans. It'll probably be twice the price as well.
Woops, I meant next. It was late and I had just done my math homework so I was a bit fatigued lol.

I hate the idea of no UMD drive. Shit on the UMD format all you want, but those game boxes look fantastic. They're meant to be displayed. They're fun to collect. But I almost wonder if Japanese developers (or hell, developers anywhere in the world) may keep the (region-free) original PSP alive.

Im confused. I own a PS3 with uncharted is the PSP2 going to be uncharted just like the PS3 only made for the PSP2? Or can I use my existing game and somehow upload it to the psp2? Hell i already own it, so I wouldnt buy it AGAIN for my psp2. ?

I do hate the format but they are a lot easier to display than the DS cases. PSP cases line up against PS2 games just fine but you'd need a 5 inch shelf just for your DS games. :)

Really? The DS cases are the same dimension as CD jewel cases which makes it easy for me to display and store.

I like the UMD format to be honest.
Recently I was playing a PS1 game and it's so scratched up that's the way I bought it and it wouldn't play properly.
My brother just came out with it be good if cd's came with a case of some sort to protect them.
I told him they do and I showed him the UMD he actually was amazed he said all DVD's and CD's should be made like that.

And the same size as an NES cart, including depth. Go check and be amazed lol.
