I have it, it has colour versions of parodius, track and field, frogger and quarth. It's also pretty cheap, I got my unboxed cart for £5 (about $7.50US).
Oh! THAT's RIGHT! I always forget about the Konami Collection re-releases. Thanks for pointing that out.
I used to have that copy of Mortal Kombat. Even then I thought it was pretty bad. Yeah, the bloodbath was cool if you're 10, but gore only carries a game so far.

I remember playing that on my brick when I was like 9. I used to think it was so amazing that they got MORTAL KOMBAT on that tiny cartridge...
...ahh, the days when I was naive were great. I thought Mortal Kombat was good and that GB carts were 'tiny'.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?
One fighting game I always thought would be cool when I was a kid was Fist of the North Star for the original Gameboy. It was definitely one of the first fighting games on the Gameboy. I never did play it though.

me neither. I thought about giving it a shot when I was working on this post, but never got around to hunting down a copy. I'm pretty sure it's a fairly common cart though.
I had it as a kid. I didn't (and still don't) know anything about the Japanimation. The game was kinda annoying but I managed to beat it by just pressing forward and punch a lot.

Got it in today and Trax is awesome. It would be a little better if it were a GBA game so you could rotate left and right with shoulder buttons instead of just having to go all the way around instead of going 45 to the right, but it's a fun little game.
*edit*
Ok that was fun, though I just beat it in on my first play of the game.
