So what have you guys been watching lately?

I watched the first 5-6 episodes of True Blood when it first aired and it sucked.

I've had a feeling I wouldn't like True Blood despite what people say. Seeing the last two posts, that might be the case.

It seems like it's always women hyping up True Blood, whether it's women I work with or people on web blogs talking about it. They're hot for vampires right now

I think the Buffy spinoff Angel was the perfect vampire show and I can't see anything else ever outdoing it. It was well written and you didn't have to be a female to enjoy it

This show kicks ass. Louis CK is the funniest man alive, and this show fits him perfectly. His first show kind of sucked, but this one feels like an extension of his act. He's funny, thought provoking, disgusting, offensive, and endearing all at the same time.

Seriously, this is one of the best shows of all time. If you don't have FX, check it out on Hulu.

I haven't missed an episode, and I completely agree with everything you wrote except for the knock against the HBO show. It was also excellent.

Tv showwise - King of the Hill reruns, Futurama, and Doctor Who reruns.

True Blood is actually one of the only shows I currently keep up with. That and The Office.

I'll have to just give it a shot and make up my own mind. I think I'm sort of biased against other vamp shows after they cancelled Angel, which I loved and then later replaced it with another much less interesting vamp show on the same network

Louie is good. It's not like any other show on tv. Very experimental. It's almost always entertaining, and when it's funny, it's hilarious.

"Sucked" may have been a strong word. It was not as good as it should have been. Still funny though. At any rate, it's a lot better than the George Carlin show was. That was a real disaster.
