What if.....games were more like movies and music and almost all seen re-releases on updated formats. I know some do, but not like the movie and music industry.
Kinda like VHS to DVD, Tapes to CD ect. Imagine all 500 or so NES games on the SNES, then all the 500 NES and the 500 SNES games on N64, then the Gamecube would have around 2000 games and most people would not give a crap about all the retro stuff.
Cassettes are just disposable now, can't give them away.
