Game you LOVE that everyone else HATES

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

i know alot of people do not like Cruisn USA/World etc...

but i like it since the arcade days and the release on the n64. I think i like due to the aracde fun factor of it. And the diversity of scenary you drive in its awesome to look at even if not top notch graphic.

Awfully horrendous controls and so many things wrong that I can't even remember half of them right now. But man I loved the story, the graphics, the sound, everything about that game..... Maybe that's why I suck at fighting games today  Another awful fighter that I absolutely loved was BioFREAKS on the N64. It was probably my 12 year old self that loved cutting off peoples limbs/head/cutting ppl in half.....ah the memories.

I had BioFREAKS for the Playstation when I was a kid. I absolutely loved it at the time.

I don't know if it's hated or not, I only know one person who has even heard of it, but I really love Brute Force. The story and characters are crap, but I just keep coming back to it. I'm currently on my third play through.

I like Cyborg Justice on the Genesis. So pointless.

You're not alone. It's been honored in a front page Racketboy article

N64 was the system I cut my teeth on really and there were some gems that are by and large considered crap and are all worth about $1.

War Gods (i'll take this over KI Gold any time)
Waialai Country Club Golf (this game still holds up, absolutely)
Blast Corps (not hated per se, but did not get the love - or sales it should have)

Those 3 and the popular Zelda OoT, Mario 64, and Wave Race were all equals in my library.

I have seen a total of 1 episode of AVGN. Never needed to see another. He isn't coloring my choices at all.

The funny thing about AVGN is that after watching a video of his, it makes me want to play the game. Only if it is an NES game though, I find crappy NES games to actually be kind of fun, at least for a little while.

Ooph. How do you feel about Mortal Kombat 4 then, since War Gods was essentially a test run for the MK system in 3D?

At the time, I liked MK 4 as well, but if I recall it sold well, and still does in the $8-10 range, whereas War Gods was bashed, didn't sell, and can be found for dirt just about anywhere. I still love it and think it is maybe not as good as Soul Calibur, but they are in the same arena, for me anyways.

And speaking of MK for the N64, heres a game I HATE that everyone else HATES - Sub Zero: Mortal Kombat Mythologies, nice idea (Fighting game turned into Platformer) but horrible execution. I'll take Kung Fu over that shipwreck any day.

SUPER PITFALL For the NES!

Probably is the worst Pitfall version ever made, but I love it!
