Closeup of the SoM2 label! From this distance it looks pretty good, though. The typeface looks like an english version of the Seiken Densetsu 3 title. Did you find the image online?

Looking good sir, even if I'm not waiting on anything. Perhaps later I'll get in line.

The Mana 2 cart pictured is one that I'm keeping for myself. The label is one that I found online...

It's nice because it has the English text, but it's not the crispest image. I was making one myself, but I just have a draft right now...

Everything is a higher resolution, much more pixels per square inch. Although, I don't know how much that matters when I finally print a rather small image. I might try to find a different image to use, mostly because that's the one you always see. I also like to use my own labels rather than other people's, for various reasons.

I'm waiting for a few different things to come in the mail to finish other people's repros, so I think on Thursday I'll work on a few for myself. I think I'm going to make a Treasure Hunter G cart and begin playing it. Kinda sucks, all these games for possible repros and I wanna play them all! lol.

There's one thing I've been dying to try out, and it's easy enough to do. Carts with a switch to select two different ROMs. I'm planning on taking my Final Fight (1) cart and adding in an EPROM with Final Fight Guy on it. Basically, you add a simple switch to select which EPROM to enable (so in one switch position it'll play Final Fight, in the other Final Fight Guy). I also thought to add Ghoul Patrol to my Zombies Ate My Neighbors cart. There's probably a ton of others that would be nice to have.

I mentioned a bunch of pages back, I saw a repro some one did, it was Star Fox 2 with a switch to go between the original unpatched and translated patched versions. The only problem with that is the Star Fox 2 PCB takes up the entire inside of the cart, so fitting two EPROMs would be really hard (if even possible). He used a single EPROM to do it, I'm assuming it's a 27C160. The only problem is I am not sure how to wire a switch the will select either the first or second half of the EPROM. I registered with the forum to send him a PM, but he hasn't gotten back to me. I would really like to make a Star Fox 2 / Super Weekend cart though.

Yeah, your remake does look a lot sharper. Still, very cool how someone made an english version of the SD3 logo. That's still salvagable.

Yeah, that list is awesome because it has many games with all that info on them. But it can be a pain in the ass to read sometimes. I want to take all the info and make it into an Excel spreadsheet, but that would take FOREVER! lol. Maybe one day I could at least just compile a list of possible donor carts.

I picked up some little switches from Radio Shack for what I mentioned on the previous page. For whatever reason, Radio Shack had these 6-packs of assorted switches in plastic that was folded and staples. There was no barcode or anything else on it. I grabbed a few new iron tips and went to the register. The guy scanned the tips and then took the bag of switches out of my hand and said, "what the hell is this?" I figured something like this, so I had the line "Oh, yeah, the sign said it was $5.99" but before I could get the words out he throws it on the counter in front of me and says, "Just take it. Put it in your pocket."

So long story short, I got 6 switches for free lol. It's the least Radio Shack can do after all the horrible products I've bought from them over the years.

Im going to email the creator, starting tomorrow I should have some downtime at work for the next week or so, so I might be able to convert it over to a spreadsheet. Aslong as we get a piece of the action in our guides section I have no problem with doing the monotonous work.

That'd be great if you did. Maybe you could clean it up a little, too. Some of the game's titles are screwed up. Some times the words have no spaces between them so you can't search for them easily. Some times the titles are just unreadable! The other thing I don't like is the collum for "HiROM" with a yes or no for each game. That collum should be "mapper" and each game should specify "HiROM" or "LoROM."

Yeah, it's a little screwy, but I REALLY appreciate the person that compiled that list in the first place.
