WHAT! Geez, we don't get crap like that around here. I'm so jealous. Not so much because of what it is, but just because of the awesome deal.

I never stop at the pawn america where I live, because they are pretty good about checking ebay or amazon and getting a baseline price. Typically their games are $3-10 higher than those standard prices and 99% of their stock is current generation stuff. But, since I had to take that route home today, I figured i'd stop on in.

Of there 200 or so retro games, i'd say 197 were at or over market, however I did grab:
TMNT IV - SNES - $5.95
"D" - SATURN - CIB - $11.95
The Jetsons Invasion of the Planet Pirates - SNES - 6.95

I don't need TMNT IV, but I wasn't gonna pass it up at more than 50% under market.
I need D (again) and it's complete, nr mint, w/good case - so for $12, i'm pretty happy on it.
The Jetson's I don't have and it's a minor want for the collection purposes, and definately well under market.

Just odd - the TMNT Tournament Fighters sticker price - $24.95. Maybe they got the games mixed, maybe an error, who knows - but I guess these are the reasons we stop in these places.

Just got a GBA SP 101 model (with the better backlit screen) and "yu yu Hakusho tournament tactics" for $10 off craigslist. Dont really care about the game, and will never play it most likely, but the price was good for the GBA alone.

I bet they thought the TMNT was the NES original or something

It's funny, a day or two before I found that I was just thinking to myself "It's a shame I'll never get to play GunValkyrie!" (as it's not backwards compatible) so when I saw that listing... If the government is listening to my thoughts, at least they're looking out for me. Not sure what I'm gonna do with it when I'm done playing my shortlist of good OXbox games; I might mod it and turn it into a bartop or something.

Here's what (finally!) came in the mail for me today:

$28 shipped for 3 Super Famicom controllers might not be the best deal in the world, but it beats the shit out of the knockoffs I was using before (the two at the top.) Think I can turn the knockoffs into an arcade stick?

Value Village had a complete copy of Rayman 2: The Great Escape for the Dreamcast for $2 :D

It's become quite the challenge to find Dreamcast games out in the wild so I was quite surprised when it was sitting there on the peg. I of course snatched it up, can't wait to play it!
good find! that's an odd one to see out in the wild.

I've never seen it in the wild, ever. I see all the other versions, but not that one.

It is indeed the reason we check these places, for the games that slip through the cracks. The pawn shop near where I work sometimes prices off ebay and sometimes not. They have been sitting on a nasty looking Gamecube Super Mario Sunshine asking around $30.00 for a while. Today I went in and picked up Luigi's Mansion nice and complete for $4.00!

EDIT: I don't actually work in a pawn shop!
