What Made you Smile/What Ticked you off Today?

Went to my medical terminology class today. Missed last week because I have been sick with a series of horrible illnesses. Teacher asked if I was alright and I said, "eh...about 70%" and she told me to leave because I could get other people sick for the final exam next week. I was in shock. I told her I was fine and she said that she couldn't take that risk and told me to leave.

My boss has made me leave work because of fear of spreading the sickness around. Come to think of it, I once was asked to reschedule an interview because I showed up sick. You want to show that you are tough as nails and that the job means that much to you, but in the end the professor/boss doesn't want to get sick.

Don't panic, your professor will cut you some slack.

Smile: While at the grocery store I met two thug-alugs who were wearing Cleveland Indians caps. I was also wearing my Kinston Indians hat, identical to theirs besides the fact my hat's bill isn't straight and doesn't have stickers on it. Never to be the shy one, I said "Nice hats, sports" to which one of the taller than usual gentlemen replied with "Ya'lls ain't bad either". And with my white goofiness showing off full throttle I said "Just something I pulled out the cooler". And then I was called a "playa".

@Indecks: I can't wait to try the stuff. There are multiple warnings on the label on how spicy the stuff is.

Fair Warning - we were outside for 3 hours and it is gorgeous, the snow is manageable, and it's about 45 degrees so the kids weren't freezing and wanted to keep going.
