just beat the Mines in PSO offline mode - something I've never done before. :)

Yesterday played some Streets of Rage 2 (Sega Smash Pack) w/ my wife on the Dreamcab, and then we tried around of Who Wants to Beat Up a Millionaire. The second game was alright.

Then ran thru the Forest and Caves in PSO online mode w/ some guys from DCT.

Ah yes, the beautiful sound emulation that is in the SSP. Plus, the more you play WWTBUAM, the more you'll take my advice and hit the Start button every chance you get to skip a lot of the stuff

the sound emulation on SSP is of course, rough. Yeah. But it's still a pretty good collection of games. I find myself revisiting it fairly often. I've said before that having played Sonic via VGA, it's tough for me to play it any other way now.

WWTBUAM is probably not something I'll spend too much time with. I mean. It was OK. But nothing special. Honestly, I'd rather just play WWT Be AM than this.

Long story short: Nothing - it was donated to my children.

Short story long: I was given the iMac (and an old PowerPC older than the iMac and Zip Drive) at the end of last school year when a teacher friend of mine retired. The teacher bought the iMac for his home. He loved the iMac and used it all the way up until he retired because of all the lessons, tests, worksheets, etc that he made in Clairis Works. Even though he upgraded his wife's computer, he used the iMac which was suffering from severe dimming at home while he was still teaching. I thought the dimming wasn't that bad at first, but it annoyed me so I gutted all the salvageable parts, properly disposed of the CRT and kept the shell.
So in the end, the personal computer he used for years that he intended for my kids to use at home is being used by them... just in a different way.

Soon I will be back into the Dreamcast Foray:

This weekend I picked up:

Maximum Pool
Slave Zero
Soul Fighter
Wacky Races

Really looking forward to Wacky Races and Maximum Pool. And of course the PSO online meetups.
