Those Totino's pizzas are a bit of a guilty pleasure of mine. Cooked in the oven, of course.

That crash.
Sometimes I'll buy a few Supreme Totino's pizzas if I know my friends plan on drinking when they visit. Dudes devour that stuff (cooked in the oven of course) like it was gourmet stuff. But the sat fat contained in them...yikes.

My friend was rear ended by an eighteen wheeler on the highway, and pushed him close to a half mile post contact.

I know people who can't even run a half mile. He sent VW a "Your engineering may have saved my life letter" and they sent him a thank you note with a check for $1,000. y friend involved in the accident works for the IRS, and although he is a smart cookie, I'm afraid he's going to try to wring those responsible dry.

He's a great guy, but he's still upset and to be honest, angry. Not that he shouldn't get a fair shake, but accidents happen to everyone, and they are called accidents for a reason.

The totinios pizzas (toaster oven ftw) are very similar to the pizza that my highschool cafeteria used to serve, so I love em.

As far as Cici's goes. I will say that (at least at the one near my place) they do have a good spinach pizza. Its not like I'd order it for delivery, we've got a Jet's and Little Ceasars if we want pizza (or a Papa Murphy's). But I don't mind their cheap buffet for when I want a quick bite.

What terrible Cicis have you eaten at? They're certainly far from gourmet, but the few times I've been to them around here they were ok other than a birthday party of screaming children at one.

Not to diminish the crash, but your friend appears to have had a nice straight hit in the back. That's probably the best accident to have as the hit is farthest from the driver and no twisting and spinning to throw you into other things. Maybe why the airbags didn't go off as well? I hope he's better quickly.

It could have been much worse like it was for a co-worker that lost an argument with an 18 wheeler. He has a few rods in him now and has never been the same. :(

Well...
A Google User reviewed a year ago
Overall Poor to fair
I've been too other Cici's and although i haven't thought any of them too be outstanding.. the food at this one seems even worse. Bland.. Cheap obviously, but sooo bland.

But I would say that if anyone knows bland food it is someone who visits Cici's pizza.

I agree; Cici's shouldn't even be classified as pizza. It is just bread, cheese, and sauce(?) that just so happen to be in the same physical area, repeated about a dozen or so times under a warming lamp. I stay as far away from Cici's as I possibly can.

Speaking of bad pizza, Domino's used to be terrible as well, but they have turned around their act significantly in the past few years. Now it's comparable to even Papa John's in terms of chain-restaurant pizzas. But, they're both way above Pizza Hut, and stomp all over Little Caesar's. Still, it goes without saying that a good share of local pizza joints will offer a better pie than any of them. I doubt I will ever have a better pizza than Pepe's in New Haven, Connecticut.

I'll be near New Haven soon. I'll have to try it out. The best pizza I had was actually an Emeril's in Chicago. Go figure.

Chicago and East Coast pizza are completely different dishes; the former is more like a casserole and the latter more like a cracker. Personally, I prefer East Coast style, and I will take any opportunity possible to go to Pepe's. If I am within 100 miles of it, I will find a way to go.
BogusMeatFactory wrote::D Had myself some Jet's Pizza for breakfast. Nothing beats Deep Dish pizza with almost everything on it. Mmmmmmm..
Jet's is quite good if you have a diving mask and snorkel to get through the grease.

This is the one we went to, and I actually didn't mind the food. Not the best, but the buffet's all-you-can-eat and I haven't eaten anything (aside from a couple of fruit-and-grain bars) since around 10-11am that day (it was an omelet I made in my GTXpress Redi Set Go, though it was just shredded cheddar and bacon bits and a pretty good deal of black pepper).
