People complained that MvC 3 did not have Megaman well Tatsunoko vs Capcom has Zero, ROLL AND Megaman volnutt. Roll and Volnutt are so much fun to play with in TvC. its a real shame so many people missed out on it. I preordered and bought the game at launch. I like the characters in it so much more than most of the roster in MvC 3(Dormamu, X-23 and tron bonne are pretty cool though).SNKnicotine wrote:^^I'll second that^^foxhound1022 wrote:This I agree with 100%.Godot102 wrote:Tatsunoko vs Capcom is WAY better than Marvel vs capcom 3
I was just playing it yesterday RYU/POLIMAR and ROLL, FTW

There is a reason why I imported and bought locally. Well it was mostly because I imported before it was announced that it was coming stateside, regardless of that it is still my favorite VS fighter. Heck the USA version has Zero aswell.Godot102 wrote:People complained that MvC 3 did not have Megaman well Tatsunoko vs Capcom has Zero, ROLL AND Megaman volnutt. Did this really need to be a 100+ page thread?

Isn't it better to confine all the "look at me I'm different and thus cool" soapboxing to one thread?AppleQueso wrote:Did this really need to be a 100+ page thread?

I guess... I just figured we'd all gotten it out of our systems by now.isiolia wrote:Isn't it better to confine all the "look at me I'm different and thus cool" soapboxing to one thread?AppleQueso wrote:Did this really need to be a 100+ page thread?

I haven't played many current-gen games, so I have to ask: what games do have a "save anywhere" feature? I thought Mass Effect was being generous, if not sensible, with its "anytime except during battles" system. I still think of unrestricted saving as being the realm of emulators and Action Replay, though, so I always rejoice and feel a bit like an omnipotent wizard when I'm confronted with more save points than I expect (e.g. two).Snatch1414 wrote:Any game that doesn't have a save anywhere feature is sorely lacking and arguably unplayable IMO. I gave up on Dead Rising 2, GTAIV and even Mass Effect for this reason.
I like Backloggery for the social, bloggish aspect ("Oh boy! I see that [some friend] got [some achievement] in [some game]!!"), but I'm not so fond of the site's focus on beating a game as the end-all, be-all of the experience, nor the putting of overtly negative connotations on things like unbeaten games, or buying three or more new games in a row. Those badges are definitely funny, and the site was made for people who need encouragement combing through their backlogs, so it all makes sense. I just think it could be a little more absurdist, and less subtly judgmental, with its stats.BoneSnapDeez wrote:I don't like Backloggery either - RFGen ftw.

PC games, generally. Though with more half assed ports to PC there have been more 'save points'.Key-Glyph wrote:I haven't played many current-gen games, so I have to ask: what games do have a "save anywhere" feature? Seems to me the auto save feature is way better than a save anywhere feature. I remember back in the day with PC games you would practically spam Quick Save, so that you didn't lose hours of gameplay to death. Now that's taken care of.

To be fair, 5-10 pages turned into unpopular guitar opinions, so we got to make up those pages before it gets a lockAppleQueso wrote:Did this really need to be a 100+ page thread?
