Hi all! New to the forums, happy to be here!

I've always looked to this site to show me the diamonds in the rough when it comes to retro games so I decided to finally join the forum.

I'm 23, a student for graphic design, I have a massive real life video game collection and an even massiv-er one on my PC. I love gaming, especially from the PSX era. I also love playing guitar, rock climbing and cooking.

I have alot of questions about certain systems and how to properly dump. AND I DON'T MEAN SHITTING. Sickos.

Glad to be here. I love the site and the articles and I hope to find alot of people who are into videogames as much as me!

Hey everybody.

I'm CCCP. Uhh, I basically am recovering from alcohol and cant drive for the next year, so I've decided to rekindle my passion for old games to be absolutely frank. I've consistently played games, but I'm really interested in getting back to the roots. I'm also going to start doing game reviews on youtube.

Saturn (Literally just bought it, it's being shipped to my house, and I need all the suggestions i can get.)


The funny think is I'm pretty much poor. I just never get rid of systems (cept for my OG xbox) and find good deals. I like Fighters first and foremost, but I also dig Side Scrollers, Sports games, Action games, Puzzlers, and to a certain extent FPSs (I don't like newer ones, tho). I need suggestions on good RPGs, Shumps, and Beat Em Ups.

I am a mix between Nintendo and Sony Fanboy, with an appreciation for Sega and Neo Geo. I basically like em all except microsoft consoles. I'm also a big sports fan (Not soccer, tho.), and I'm currently attending school to be a writer director and, oh no, this is starting to sound like a match profile.

Anyway, I will be an active member for sure.

Welcome aboard CCCP, and my compliments on the avatar. Since you mentioned needing some ideas for your Saturn, might I suggest Cyberbots immediately! Also, look into either modding your Saturn or getting a cart that will allow you to play imports. You're going to need it.

I was browsing your boards looking for a way to clean the slot in my Super Nintendo and decided to register.

I'm 25 and a writer for a cable shopping network. I'm mainly a collector of Snes stuff but occasionally pick up other things I see at yard sales or flea markets and find interesting. I currently only have 124 snes games but I'm looking to add to that.

That's it about me, I'm looking forward to contributing to the community in whatever way I can.

Hi everyone, I'm Rafael, a 18-year-old retrogamer from Rome, Italy.

My favourite systems are Dreamcast and Super Nintendo (I grew up with it). I collect games for many consoles, such as DC, Snes, N64, PS1 and 2, DS, and so on.

I think the greatest item in my collection is a japanese Playstation 2 "Midnight Blue", bought from Play-Asia years ago, just awesome!

Maybe I'll post some photos of my collection these days, so... that's it

I'm 28, work in a Meat Dept. bluh! I'm into collecting, gaming, music, movies(isn't everyone). I've recently started collecting Laserdiscs when I found a ton of them at a thrift world for dirt cheap, these things are so cool! But I've noticed that buying them off ebay is not cheap(depending on the title) especially one in particular which I have a question about later if someone can help. I think I have a pretty descent collection of videogames, not nearly as impressive as some I've seen on here before but I'm happy with it. Maybe someday I will take some pictures and show them off. hmmm what to say, I will occasionally read a book from time to time, none of that twilight crap though, it's got to be something I'm really interested in, I am a Huge Dexter fan and it is KILLING me waiting for season 5! I really don't know what else to say, I honestly don't socialize much unless it's with family or certain friends of mine I've always been known as the shyguy, but I had to at least say something to you guys sometime cause I LOVE this site.Peace


Oh yeah, everyone has seen the nes Mario Bros. cart a million times, but have you ever wondered why they chose that pic of him jumping to his death spitting a fireball into the wall, I always thought that was kinda weird.
