The church thing during the weekend sucked, we went and were supposed to stay the weekend at our group leader's house and have two college helpers but it sucked so i left early. We went to a mud pit and I got sun burned on my shoulders. Boston bombing. no one even cares about the new daft punk album.

I am fine as well. As are all of my friends/family in the area. Took the day off from work. My job is in Boston but a good 2+ miles from where the explosions took place. Been in NH the whole time.

Thanks to Republican obstinance, I've paid way more in taxes this year than last year, and I've paid way more in taxes than a good many corporations, including my bank. I feel like one day people will wake up and realize that the Republicans aren't looking out for the little man, for those who don't make 250K a year. :/
Frown: As I was leaving my gf's house about an hour ago, I noticed that someone hit my truck today. It looks like they were backing into a parking spot, fucked up, and ran down the length of my truck from the edge of the driver's side door all the way to the rear bumper. It's just out of eye sight unless you look at it straight on so it's been there for most of the day. There was only a small window of time it could have happened in so I know the where and the when. Wish I knew the who.
The thing that pisses me off the most isn't even that someone hit me. Mistakes happen. It makes me want to rage that they hit me in such a way that there is no possible way they didn't notice or feel it...and they just left. No attempt to find me in the restaurant I was in. No note with contact information. Not even a "I'm sorry but I don't have insurance". Nothing but utter contempt for whoever it was they hit.

Got home at 9:30am and went to bed. Woke up at 10:30pm. Back at work...
Sucks to hear about the Boston stuff. I'll have to read up on it some more, as I slept the entire day away.
Was excited to move to Houston, so I could see more of the bands I enjoy in concert. Looks like Nine Inch Nails will be at VooDoo fest this year. Also, a new retro gaming store just opened up in my old home town. I really want to move back home...
I don't think I have a smile today. Pretty crappy day thus far.
The Boston stuff is really sad. Thankfully from what I understand the death toll is low, but there's a lot of people who are missing limbs now. They're going to have a much harder life now thanks to whatever scumbag did this.
